I'm wondering what the yellow looking stuff on top of the tacos al pastor is?? Thanks
Worth every penny. The small slice of pineapple ads that small gesture of originality. Indeed I thought the pineapple infused style salsa they bring would add a unique flavour. Little did I know that this was the hottest of all sauces and challenged those of us who enjoy the heat, more than just a little. Thank God for the cerveza's.
They put a small slice of pineapple on top of the tacos al pastor but they also have three side sauces. I do not know what the sauces are but the green and dark red sauces are not spicy at all and the orange is hot.
That is pineapple, that is cooked on top of the pastor on the roaster. It makes all the difference.
I think you're talking about the marinade perhaps
Thanks guys! Looks so yummy, I can't wait. This will be my first visit to PV, but not my last!
Tey are always served with a slice of pineapple ... plus you could have cheese
Truthfully, when we ate those in July of this year, I am thinking it was either a sauce we added ourselves that was on the table OR as a few others have said it was pineapple.
In any event they are da bomb...
