What are entrance fees to sites you stop at? Rum factory, Blow hole, forts, etc? Thanks!
...we did see several forts along the way, and none had an admission, although some are in "ruin" status.
Hi Jodi H. I hope you did not ask this question a long time ago, I don't check back often.
I believe the entrance to the Blow Hole was about $8 or $9 per person. But, this is one of their National Parks, so spent some time seeing that and a cave along the shore. This was the only admission we paid, as we mostly did a scenic tour of the island and Handelskade (downtown).
We told our driver Sharmond that we were interested in seeing the the Blue Curacao factory. He said that it is very popular, hard to find parking, very crowded on the day we were there. And...they do not make the product there. He did us one better...they bring a bottle from the factory in the vehicle, and conduct their own tasting (in our case, an old fort high on the cliff, overlooking the bay and cruise ships). He was versed in how it was made. We didn't feel we "missed out", and had an enjoyable experience!
When we went, anything we went to that had an admission was included in the price we paid.(except for lunch, which was at our own expense). But please be sure to confirm this with Andy when you email him! These guys are amazing. We've used them the last 2 years in a row!
