They might not have vegan food, however there are 5 to 7 different vendors, What I would do is to find one who might be able to accomodate me for the next day or all week, It might be easier for vegetarian than vegan though.
Yes, they do. And the most delicious homemade lemonade!
There are probably better choices if you're looking to be strictly vegan but like others have said. I'm sure they would try to accommodate, It's a cool local place to check out when you're in the area (pretty unique).
This place has probably about 6-8 different stands and depending who you ask you might be able to get something vegan, but I do NOT recommend it! I am vegetarian and at first they offered me plantains, rice, beans, and salad and in the end they said they ran out of that and just served me white rice with shredded lettuce on the side. And they still charged me the full price! You're better off going somewhere else.
No, they are not open on December 25. Curacao is a Christian country.
Yes, there are veggies---mashed potatoes, beans and rice, plantains, salad, and, well,
fish is not meat!!! This is a local spot, with picnic tables and tablecloths, not your typical
restaurant or fast food joint. Just good, old fashion, homemade food!!!
I'm vegan at home but I relax the rules a bit on holidays. I had food that was definitely vegetarian at Yvonne's in Piaza Bieu; green beans, polenta, salad and rice. I'm almost certain that it was vegan but it's possible there was butter or something else in there. I strongly doubt that the vendors in the Piaza are even familiar with what vegan food is. When I asked for vegetarian food they told me they didn't have anything but they could make me a plate of what I described above which was delicious. In Curacao, you need to be a bit careful with your instructions because many restaurants think that fish is suitable for vegetarians.
They do not. But if you ask and specify what you want I am sure someone will be happy to accomodate you.
They have multiple vendors with multiple options per. The people that cook the food are there, I'm sure there are options for you and all you'd have to do is ask them and they'd be happy to make you something, or suggest your best choices per your restrictions.
Caveat - that being said I'm not 100% sure, just based on seeing options.
