My son has spotted this and is keen. I am concerned that he needs to be part of a camp and it appears that the accommodation is spread about. I am also concerned about safety. Please can you advise how this set up works?
Please avoid this place. It's a tourist gym with very unprofessional n disrespectful staff. Your lad will be better off at any other gym in Phuket than this
Hello, it depends on how old your son is, his experience in training and travelling. My 12 year old has trained Muay Thai at the centre, however I also attended. If he stays on-site he should be fine if he is a mature 16 year old. There is accommodation at the camp and a great restaurant. I would suggest you organise a car to pick him up from the airport and take him to the camp. There is also a lot of accomodation on the street the centre is located and he will only have to walk down the street to attend training.
do not worry about safety it is a very family operated venue no camp needed just pop in .have known the family for over 25 years will be looked after
Totally safe. I’m a young girl and have been many times by myself. No need to be part of any camp - just pop in. If you’re worried there’s a hotel directly opposite (hotel anchan). All on the main road are walking distance
Hi, I was there for 4 weeks and never had any issues in regards to safety, other than crazy way they drive there. Tiger has several camps but they are all on the same street, within 15 minutes walking. Most people there are focused on their training - it's not exactly a party spot. I hope it helps.
