We are thinking of staying here next August. Any views on how it is during monsoon weather?! Also, can anyone give more detail on what's provided in the bungalows?
The bungalows are fantastic for the price; bed, bathroom, air con, hammock, on the beach, great Resteraunt/ communal area, best staff. Tree house is my fav place on Samui.
No idea about monsoon but was there during freak storms and the main downside is Thailand is better when the weather is good.
No problem in August as season in Koh Samui is opposite to rest of Thailand and so good in SW Monsoon - not so good in October-November when it rains a lot.
Bungalows are clean and basic - Queen bed, a/c or fan (price difference), paintings hanging on wall, drawers + hanging rail en suite shower, wc, basin. Patio with 2 chairs + table & hammock - every thing you need really
I saw airconditioning in at least 5 of the 20 odd units
