Smart casuals are quite acceptable. November nights are quite warm so there is no need for jackets.
Hi there !! Cairns is in the Tropics and end of Nov will be around the 30 degrees. Also it starts to get humid. Everybody here is relaxed and dressed casual. Most of the times Ladies are wearing dresses and guys wearing shorts with a shirt. Of course If you like you can wear long pants. Honestly it's a relaxed great casual atmosphere. Dinner at tjapukai is inside but with huge open sliding doors opening to the garden area. You really will love the Dinner show! Try day time as we'll as it's a bit different. You won't regret it. Have a safe trip and enjoy beautiful North Queensland :)
I haven't attended the night session but here in Cairns just smart casual is perfectly acceptable (no tees, shorts, flip flops etc). It would be acceptable to wear casual trousers and open collar shirt for guys and just a simple dress or slacks and blouse for the ladies. We are laid back up here!
