My husband and I would love to do the 2 hour tour, but we have a 5yo and 1yo, and the tour is for >12yo. Would it be possible to take turns doing the tour? My husband do the morning tour, and I will do the afternoon tour. Are the permanent exhibits ok for the younger kids?
Hi. I am looking to buy a shirt from CERN. Unfortunately these can only be bought in person (ie not ordered online). Is there anyone who would buy a shirt for me and send it to London? I can send money for the shirt and postage to you - or maybe travel to collect it from you in London.
Are you allowed to carry small backpacks? The site says no luggage so just wondering what can be carried. Thanks
My husband and I are traveling to Geneva from California expressly to visit the accelerator. He is a retired aerospace scientist from Boeing and although now retired he helps teach disadvantaged children about STEM. It is his fondest wish to have a tour during out visit. If there is only one space available I wish he to have it as a 58th anniversary gift from me. We will be in Geneva all day September 13 and September 14. Please help his dream become a reality.
I visited here two weeks ago. Great tour but unfortunately I have just shrunk the t-shirt I bought for my spouse. CERN will not sell anything online - is there anyone visiting CERN soon who would buy this t-shirt for me (titled Information Management: a proposal in extra large) and I can arrange to pay for shirt and postage to London? Please email if you can help to lisa at anakato period net. Thanks!
Hi everyone. Heading to Geneva in a few weeks and really looking forward to going to CERN but I was wondering do you actually get to see the LHC when you visit (the exhibits and/or tour). From what I have read it suggests you don't but I find that hard to believe.
