Hi there. What time did you start the tour and where is the location to meet up? Appreciate the feedback. thank you.
We will be taking this tour in Sept and then are considering taking the Florence food tour a few days later. Do you think this would seem to similar? I know the food tour is in the city of Florence and the markets but I wonder if the foods and info would be similar. Your thoughts?
ALSO, do you think one full day in Bologna in addition to a day on this tour is enough? We are not interested in art or history but mostly food.
They said they can pick us up at the train but we would be 20 minutes late for the tour at the cheese factory and they said that is the best part of the tour. Any thoughts? Is the first 20 minutes really the best? Do you think it would be easier to fly into Bologna and spend the night and take the tour early in the next morning and then just take the train after the tour to Florence? OR easier to fly into Florence and get up real early and take the train into Bologna for the tour and miss some of it? Which is less hassle? They said we can take our luggage in the van on the tour.
If you take the train into Bologna from Florence in the morning will you make it to the tour on time?
Question for the owner. By chance do you have room for 2 more for either tomorrow Monday September 21st or Tuesday September 22nd? I tried to book online where it said you still had room on Tuesday, but then the email said you were booked. :( This is our email to you in hoping that you might be able to squeeze us in. We are only in town these two days and this tour looked like the best way to finally taste and learn about balsamic.
