The water is crystal clear! It is so warm! The reef must be 200 yards out. We spent at least two hours a day just being in the water. We didn’t snorkel, yet saw lots of fish. Would recommend bring your own snorkel gear. Beautiful sandy beach. Fascinating that the Air Force flies over with a variety of planes during the day.

The tropical fish were just amazing and beautiful. Stunning!

I would recommend buying a snorkel set and just enjoy a day relaxing as you view the tropical fish in their natural habitat. It is very refreshing, safe, and calming.

Beautiful beach! We brought inner tubes and floated around. Lots of rock/ tide pools where we were. Purple coral and tiny blue fish.

Just be aware that the road is gated and closes at 4pm. Also, go slow on your way there as the roads can be slippery— there was no sign to warn us that a sharp right curve was coming up so we drifted a little *scary* When you get to the marine park, turn left, not right (google maps says right).

Very nice view! Not bad for $3. Very clean and the park looks tended to.
Good place to watch the sunset, although it seems their hours of operations have changed recently, which was a little frustrating because their website says otherwise…

I was told they’re open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

And when they say they close at 6:00 pm, they mean that the WHOLE place closes at 6:00 pm. That’s the lookout point, the gift shops…everything. Kinda sucks, but what can you do?

So to save yourself the headache and your valuable time, I suggest going earlier.

    Also…The statue is gone!

The Chamorro Village Night Market on Wednesday nights was worth going early for dinner. There were multiple food stands from which to choose, and we took our meals to go back to our hotel. Too many people without masks.

We went diving here several times and really enjoyed it. Easy access to the beach from the parking lot, just follow the twin pipes out until it gets deep enough to descend. There is some boat traffic so make sure to tie off a dive marker on the pipes once you reach 5 meters depth. You can follow the slope either right or left shoulder, I liked it better on the right. Clear blue water and quite a few turtles. Apparently people sometimes see mantas but we didn't. The slope is gradual, for the most part we stayed above 20 meters but you can go quite deep - I was surprised to see two turtles at about 30 meters.

We visited this mall a couple times over our stay. Quite a few stores, some unique to Guam and some major recognizable brands. Prices were a bit high, but kind of expected given things have to be shipped in. The food court had a ton of options which was really great, but it looks like it hasn't been updated since the late 1980s.

i am sure this is a wonderful aquarium, but it was closed when i got there due to typhoon damage. if you plan on going, i strongly suggest that you inquire as to whether they are actually open or not.

Nice little visit, with a couple pretty waterfront areas to explore. My kids and I had fun looking for little beach treasures even though we weren't allowed to keep any of them.

This National Park Service Museum provides an excellent background on the Pacific War in WWII. for those with an interest in military history, this is a "MUST" see. there are field trips organized by the Park Service to various military sites all over Guam. DONT MISS THE FIELD TRIPS! this museum is very close to the entrance to the US Navy base on Guam. you can't miss the museum, because there is a Japanese mini-submarine on static display right outside the museum. my FIRST visit was a big disappointment because the museum had sustained damage from Typhoon Mawar. However, when i return three weeks later, i was relieved to see that the damage had been repaired and the museum was open for visitation. while on Guam, this is a must see ! Re the Japanese mini-submarines, there are to my knowledge at least three on display - one here in Guam, another was raised at Pearl Harbor and returned to the Japanese, and one on display at the National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg, Texas (birthplace of Admiral Nimitz). Another one was located in Pearl Harbor and is now a war grave under protective administration of NOAA.
