What travellers are saying
- Beth M3 contributionsFew things compare to taking the Lady of the Lake to Stehekin in December. The scenery is excellent, the boat ride is super fun, the Rainbow Falls tour is enchanting, and the lovely woman who runs the concessions is delightful. We do this trip every year and it is a favorite.Written 21 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carmyn R4 contributionsLake Chelan is awesome all year round! There are events for all seasons and all ages. The small town of Chelan is quaint and Woodin Ave is lined w/ fun shops for all ages! The fun doesn’t stop when summer ends. Go in the Fall, it’s still warm enough to play in the water and swim. Best Halloween EVER on Woodin Ave. Winter has Christmas festivities followed by winter fest. Bundle up! Spring is delightful with lots of Sandy beaches!Written 18 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - melmccBremerton, WA124 contributionsWhile visiting Chelan we spent a day here at Slidewaters. Prior to the visit, I read that soft sided coolers were allowed into the park, so we packed our lunches into our soft sided cooler and brought plenty of water. We arrived at about 10:30 and there was zero line to get in. Once inside, we were on the hunt for a shaded spot to set up with our towels as homebase. All the shaded areas were mostly full, but we found a small spot under a tree near the intermediate slides. We rented a small locker for our wallets, phones and car keys. We all wore rashguards and watershoes. I'm not sure how people walked on the hot pavement or went into the restroom without shoes. It is very, very sunny so pack lots of sunscreen to reapply. My family enjoyed the lazy river and the beginner and intermediate slides the most. My oldest went on every slide along with my husband. We all had the very best time.Written 1 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Matt Ehayden, id2 contributionsWhat a place!! My family and I spent the weekend traveling around Chelan. The whole area was beautiful and relaxing. We had good wine all day, but once we landed at Tsillan Cellars we felt like we were in a whole new region. Their wines were phenomenal. The service was even better! We were blessed to be served by Kim in the tasting room... she was knowledgeable not just about the wine, but the region. Kim introduced us to the owner Bob who was gracious enough to spend some time telling us his story about the winery. If the service and wine were not good enough the grounds were extravagant. Waterfalls, bridges, koi ponds, and amazing architecture surround the grounds outside the main building. We are very thankful for the full staff at the winery and Sorrento's (the adjoined restaurant, also amazing!) that allowed us to cap off an amazing trip and phenomenal evening! Thank you!Written 25 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- TravelBug SusanSan Antonio, TX18 contributionsI tried to book two nights for August 2023 way back in February of 2023. Unfortunately, I could not get two nights together, one of them being a Friday night. We booked the two nights at a much more expensive campground in Manson. We ended up needing one more night. I booked it online the day we needed it (Wednesday, August 23). When we arrived at the campground, the lady who checked us in told us someone just left from a pull-through site right next to the Columbia River and would we like it. We immediately said yes. The site we ended up with was stunningly beautiful. We had an unimpeded view of the Columbia River. The grass in the park is lush and green. [We had booked a back-in site next to US 97, a very busy highway. It turns out, that the back-in site we would have been in (#27) wouldn't have worked for us. We have a 33' 5th wheel and the site had curbs on the narrow park road that would have been next to impossible to navigate around.
We did not use the facilities and we were only there one night. A stay of a week or two would have been awesome. The people next to us have been camping here every summer for eight years! Gorgeous campground!Written 26 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. If you have kids they have a great playground with lots of grass to play volleyball, baseball, or other recreational activities. We were campground hosts for the month of May and we never tired of the Ranger and staff and of course the beautiful park itself. We definitely will be back. Added plus of having great fishing 🎣 as well.Written 3 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ABZBrazil461 contributionsPros
-amazing venue with gorgeous views
-reasonable prices
-decent Reds- order "CRU"
-friendly staff- smile, happy...
-delicious salads
Cons
-server did not time meals correctly... She brought my meal first while others who had pizza waited. Servers & Chefs need to time food correctly. I ended up eating alone while others waited for pizza. Plus I was still finishing my appetizers.
-server never once poured our wine. Might train servers to do this especially in such a fine dining venue
-need stronger and better umbrellas. Umbrella fell and almost hit one of the guests
-only two real food items- lamb and risotto... rest is pizza & salad... maybe add two -three more items- like a chicken, fish, and pastaWritten 8 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They had the table set and a charcuterie board waiting. We got a great history lesson on how champagne is made then after that great lesson we were escorted to our private tasting room in the cave where we got to try some great wine paired with some amazing fruit and cheese. Jeanie took amazing care of us and you could tell she loves what she does and who she does it for. We will return for sure! Great place and beautiful location!Written 25 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- WeAlwaysWAnderOlympia, WA3,185 contributionsSuch a warm welcome at this winery. I toured with about 6 good girlfriends. The owner was so welcoming, did a wonderful tasting, was a bit sarcastic (which I love) and the wine was great! After visiting with all the girls - we liked it so much we came back the next day with our spouses! We all had so much fun!Written 5 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
