What travellers are saying
- Erika-MotoAdventuresLowell, MA7 contributionsI came here a few times with my husband and his family. We were staying in Dennis for Fourth of July week and this was one of two beaches we frequented (the other being Mayflower Beach). The parking lot is fairly small and there are no restrooms or other amenities, but it's a nice beach if you like smaller beaches. We went in the evenings to enjoy the sunset and look for sea life. We found a variety of clams, including a live razor clam, two moon snails, hermit crabs, and what can only be described as a small army of leopard-spotted crabs in the knee-deep water. Sunset/dusk seems to be the time all the animals come out. If you like looking for sea life, this is the beach to go to.Written 12 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Boston JanetMassachusetts18 contributionsThis is a great little community to rent or own a cottage. Generations of families have been coming to the Grove for decades. Charming summer cottages, card games or bags with neighbors. Simply the best!Written 12 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - rjp3111965Putnam, CT17 contributionsMy husband and I took a weekend away from Connecticut to stay in Dennisport. Its was raining and chilly! I came across glass blowing right in Dennisport. I was so excited because I had previously seen some glass blowing and thought we would check it out! OMG, I had so much fun!! Fritz was so informative and down to earth! If I could have spent the day, I would have. He makes it look easy. There is alot of thought and creativity that goes into make a piece. He has a little shop with beautiful items. The colors are vibrant. The atomsphere on our visit was so perfect, rainy and cool, late afternoon, breezy a little dark. The hot kiln gave off just enough heat to keep it comfortable. He is not there to teach or expected to show demonstrations. If you catch him there, that is the reward. This is his job to produce items, but the reward is him sharing his skill! If you call ahead, he tell you what time he will be there and if he is workkng on any projects so you can watch the process. Highly Recommend thus place!!!Written 24 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- CailinBuachallaHarwich, MA16 contributionsThis bright and elegant beach boutique captivated me from my first step inside the door. Not only are the store's colors my favorite hues of turquoise and aqua, but the merchandise inside creates an ambiance I strive for in my own home. The lovely, helpful sales girl told me that this store is the inspiration of a very young entrepreneur who has her own line of bath & body products exclusive to the store. Even though I don't classify myself as a 'candle person', I had to buy one called Warm Sand because the scent was so amazing, reminding me so much of the beach. They have gorgeous jewelry, some of it locally made. And the soaps are works of art, so beautiful I bought one to use and one to display. The nautical home accents are really neat and I love their pillow selection. You have to check this elegant shop out when you're in Dennis Port. If you're on the Cape, make a special trip!Written 22 June 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
