What travellers are saying
- Peter FPretoria, South Africa180 contributionsThe beach was very clean and well protected with all coral left on the beach. The lagoon area was great for sports such as kite surfing and paddle boardingWritten 9 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Julia ChubarovaJurmala, Latvia72 contributionsOne of the most beautiful places I have ever visited in my life. The water was very fresh - perfect to cool yourself in a hot day.Written 25 October 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JUSTINE-JESSEPretoria, South Africa732 contributionsA very well displayed aquarium with lovely fish and tanks. No big sharks or dolphins. Rather expensive considering it is so small. Sad that no effort is made to accommodate English (and other languages) as not all tourists paying entrance fees are French!Written 10 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AlexGvRHanoi, Vietnam7 contributionsToday we had a great bike-ride down from the Maïdo. We decided to go for "the beginners-tour".
Under the excellent guidance from Stefan and Daniel, we had a great experience. In 4 hours we descended 32 kilometers from altitude 2200 meters to sea level.
As a beginner it was sometimes difficult to enjoy the view 😉, but the ride trough the sugarcanes, bamboo and forest was superbe!
Thanks guys!Written 27 April 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is also easy to access.Written 9 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- DiverHPBracknell, UK182 contributionsThe organisation was great for the day (a ride down the mountain from the Les Trois Bassins (a wonderful viewpoint). We had a bike check (good full suspension gear) and a short briefing (in French and English) on safety and braking (especially for those less familiar with this kind of riding) and then set off on a short run that got people familiar before the full ride.
We rode at our own pace with stops every now and again to rest or grab a drink. At each stop he gave a short briefing on the next section so we knew what ti expect and where to turn etc. A great ride, through rocky areas, through forest and mud, through sugar cane plantations and local villages.
I thoroughly recommend it, and there are varying levels of trip from beginner to experienced.Written 13 October 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The swimming pool created in the sea to have a secure place without sharks is very useful. There are showers.Written 20 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
