The brickwork on the outside looks not very well taken care off so you wouldn't get really good pictures of the outside but inside there are many things to have a nice look at such as the features on the ceiling and pictures on one of the walls.

Nice gardens in the middle of the city with a good selection of plants. Gardeners were at work during my visit, but it was still very peaceful.

This is a fascinating small art museum in the centre of Lund focussing on preliminary sketches of art works. Some of the completed works are in the museum but the bulk are elsewhere, such as works by Christo and Henry Moore. They give some insight into the process of creating a work of art, hence the name of the museum. There is a Swedish gallery, an international gallery, the highlight of which is three large paintings by Sonia Delaunay and a Mexican gallery containing works by Diego Riviera, as well as preliminary studies for large murals at Mexican Universities. Well worth visiting.

This museum is very interesting in giving an overview of the university’s history and the discoveries that have had a worldwide impact. It also houses a major display of ancient coins and items from the Viking era, which we found to be particularly interesting.

It would have been helpful if some / all of the exhibits had English explanations, even if very short.

If you are already pleased with overwhelming impressions of minimalistic art in swedish interior and looking for something totally different, the Farmacy Svanen in Lund would be just right for you. A piece of well preserved example of an old pharmacy is still existing on Kyrkogatan 5 in Lund.
You will be very surprised to see the atmosphere of early 1900s squeezed between modern shops on this street. The pharmacy is very easy to find by their distinguished storefront with beautiful green columns and the golden swan in the middle.
In 1647 The of Apotek Svanen (“Pharmacy Swan” in english) established location on the street Kyrkogatan and now classified as the oldest pharmacy in Sweden.
The present interior was sculpted in by Folke Zettervall and produced by woodcarver Ola Nilsson from Kristianstad. Decorative wood patterns depict swedish pharmacological plants, widely used in the beginning of 1900s century. Very authentic design, inspired by Arts and Crafts movement, present the spirit of this time in Scandinavia.
Entrance is free and mini-shopping is optional, but could be nice to support that historical heritage.

The uniqueness of Rinnebäcksravinen is that it is a nature reserve just 20min walk from Lund city centre. It is not a big area; it extends about 700 m and it is only 7m deep. The ravine arose about 14,000 years ago by the melting of the ice. It can be seen how melted water dug down through the soil layers. A creek flows through this small gorge. You can walk on the top of the gorge and by the creek. Almond and wild apple trees grow there as well as hawthorns and elderberries. In spring and summer, it can be a bit crowded, but you can still find a nice place for a picnic.
