What travellers are saying
- Streamer777New Brunswick, Canada10 contributionsPlenty of things to do in Centennial Park. Tree Go, glide like the squirls from tree to tree across the park. Taking a walk along the long trails. Relax near the streams. Swim at the park beach. Play sports at the local fields. Kids can cool off at the soaker park. Ski in the winter or sliding down large hills. Take photos of numerous objects. If you want a more nature park, try Irishtown Nature Park in Moncton, take a canoe for the lake experience. Make sure to get the key for the gate from parks and recreation.Written 12 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - B79Saint John, Canada240 contributionsA very nice building. Very clean, comfortable and interesting. The flight menu is neat and allows you to try a selection. It would be helpful if the winery would include information commonly available on wines retailed elsewhere in NB - ie grams of sugar per litre. Staff were friendly but busy - and it took a while for us to be seated at the beginning and to settle the bill at the end. Charcuterie was nice - but it would be nice to have an option of some sharper cheeses, even if not local. Well worth the visit.Written 27 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- MrsCroneyMoncton, Canada6 contributionsWe try to visit this zoo at least once or twice a year. They host special events like Boo in the Zoo and Zoo Lights that keep visitors coming back over and over again.Written 23 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TennisStar602New Jersey625 contributionsAt night, I took a walk on this promenade. It was empty on a cold November night, but I felt totally safe. I could hear the water quickly moving. Downtown Moncton was a great place to visit.Written 22 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- sarah wOntario, Canada7 contributionsBeautiful trails through the forest and around the lake. Song birds heard everywhere. Walking trails are wide and very well maintained. An exceptional nature park!Written 10 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- cubafavoriteguelph, ontario16 contributionsAn wonderfully designed and though out interpretation centre dedicated to the Acadian people of the 21st century. Housed in the, still operational, Notre-Dame-de-L’Assomption cathedral, innovative technology is used to tell the Acadian story of the region. This was definitely the highlight of my visit to Moncton!
My guide, Ginette Pellerin, was incredibly knowledgeable and it turned out she also created a film, “ON A BÂTI UNE CATHÉDRALE”, about the cathedral and its Acadian history! That film started the ball rolling to preserve the cathedral.
A very worthy project to not only preserve the church and its unique architectural aspects but also as a monument to the Acadian people and their heritage.Written 21 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. If a person drove a car on this hill, it could create quite an illusion.Written 22 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Trek110008601753 contributionsVery thorough displays on the history of the area I spent more time there than I expected. Allow at least 2-3 hours.Written 1 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Neil RHalifax, Canada62 contributionsTook out 5 year old and had a wonderful time. He loves the slides and the wave pool. The fun zone was alright but I don’t think I’d do it next time. The price of mini golf was surprisingly cheap so he enjoyed that as well. Had a great day.Written 4 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Gardiner WVancouver, Canada430 contributionsI think many folks outside of Atlantic Canada are not very familiar with their French speaking colleagues in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and PEI. This nice little museum on the campus of l'unviersite de Moncton gives a good insight on this historic community..when they arrived in north america, how they survived and particularly how they were forcibly removed (la deportation)from the region by the British after they had beaten the French in one of the many wars fought between these two colonial powers in the 18th century. The forced removal of Acadians is sometimes described as the first example of ethnic cleansing. What I had not realized was that after a few years, the Acadians were allowed back into NB and NS if they agreed to swear allegiance to the English king. And then began the struggle for eg language and religious rights (they were French speaking and Catholic) which after many decades was successful...much credit to the first French speaking premier of New Brunswich Louis Robichaud. Museum does a nice job of outlining the lives and challenges of this resilient group of peopleWritten 9 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NHjoSaco, ME8,609 contributionsI walked an offshoot trail of the Riverfront Park that was behind my hotel. It had a few beautiful monuments along it and some historic outbuildings, the Tidal Bore Park, and of course the river and tidal bore.Written 3 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
