On 1/23/2024, San Jose Del Cabo enchanted us with its captivating mix of vibrant culture and tranquil beauty. Every moment, from the historic charm of the town to the awe-inspiring beaches, felt like a glimpse of paradise. The culinary scene was a delightful sensory journey, providing an authentic taste of Mexican flavors. Whether we were exploring art galleries, strolling through charming streets, or simply soaking up the sun on pristine shores, San Jose Del Cabo proved to be a gem leaving a lasting impression—an ideal destination where relaxation seamlessly intertwines with cultural richness.

We missed the opportunity to experience the San Jose del Cabo Art Walk, a popular weekly event held every Thursday evening from 5-9 pm between November and June. However, we were fortunate to catch it in Cabo San Lucas last Friday adding an artistic touch to our overall adventure.

For those craving a vibrant party scene, the Cabo San Lucas Marina area is the ultimate destination. In summary, our time in San Jose Del Cabo was a delightful equilibrium of cultural exploration and relaxation, offering a perfect blend for a memorable experience.

This is a pretty church at the end of a large, popular square. The name ‘San Jose del Cabo’ in pretty block letters is in front of the church. The church has a pretty altar which was decorated with a Nativity scene when we were visiting. The church also contains a number of other statues and paintings, including Our Lady of Guadalupe.

It was awesome! Mr. Arnold sat down and chatted with us like we were old friends. And he had lots of good advice for our daughter, who wants to be an artist. Stop by and check it out!

Beautiful white sand beach perfect for Lounging, walking and bathing. Surf can be rough, perfect for surfing during the summer, so may need to be a strong swimmer. Baby sea turtles come out of the sand nests in November. What a treat.

This was a nice spot to hang out and do a little shopping. The shops are more touristy and expensive. Some shops you can haggle and bargain with, but the prices are still high.

On a nice weather day, you can get ice cream or some fruits and this would be a great place to walk around and explore. They also have restaurants you can visit and other cute boutique shops.

This organic market has the best vibe! So much fresh produce, coffee, agua frescas, icecream, best sourdough bakery, new to me a fresh fish booth, we listened to three wonderful music groups, nice artwork and activities for the children. If driving, be careful where you park in the lot, we saw a Moho deep in sand and couldn’t get out.

This is a small (six seats at the bar) beer shop (not brewery) inside the Koral Center. The shop carries craft Mexican beers on draft (no Corona here! :) They also have a small selection of bottles and cans for purchase. I had a top notch fresh! Mexican hazy IPA from a 16oz can. I wish the shop success as the Cabo area is still in craft brew infancy (coming from a craft beer enthusiast from the CA Bay Area) and these shops are a way to introduce craft beer to folks without having to trek to one of the few breweries in the area.

A short and sweet review to say- I couldn’t agree more with all the other reviews.

Enrique and Alejandra are incredibly warm and engaging! A delight to talk with about art, life, love and anything else that might come up.

Don’t miss a visit to their gallery.

The beach is now clean and beautiful. You can rent one of the few day palapas for $45 per person. That comes with a food/credit credit. We ordered 2 margaritas. $26!! Very expensive for Cabo. No chips and salsa. Come for the beach and bring your own drinks.
