Gwaii Haanas National Park Queen Charlotte City
#1 of 12 Nature & Parks in Graham Island
Gwaii Haanas is a “bucket list” national park which combines amazing natural beauty with a unique ability to understand Haida culture and history.
We thoroughly enjoyed our full day zodiac tour to the northern half of the park - visiting the ancient Haida vilages was a truly magical experience.
#2 of 12 Nature & Parks in Graham Island
Misty Meadows is a super park. Park rangers are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about their surroundings.
Amazing beach for clearing your head and reconnecting with yourself and with the elemental forces of nature.
Golden Spruce Trail Port Clements
#3 of 12 Nature & Parks in Graham Island
We sat on a bench for more than 20 minutes just taking in all of the sounds of nature.
Never mind the Golden Spruce wasn't, the rest of it was magic, like being in an outdoor church of nature.
Balance Rock Skidegate
#4 of 12 Nature & Parks in Graham Island
What an amazing and happy chance creation by Nature.
Spirit Lake Trail Skidegate

Of course the time of day, the state of the tide, weather and the season will all affect who or what you may see at the Nature Sanctuary.
Sleeping Beauty Trail Queen Charlotte City

This (like the previous review) is really about the hiking trail in the park that leads to the shipwreck Pesuta.
