Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Helmut SBangkok, Thailand2,084 contributionsPhimai historical park is about 1h drive by car from Korat. We visited it on a Sunday afternoon and I was surprised that only few tourists were there. Parking is available adjacent to the park. Entrance fee for foreigners is 100 Baht. There is a small museum and toilets. It is my 3rd visit during several decades, and with regard to ease of walking within the site improvements have been done.
Allegedly the area of Phimai historical park is comparable to Angkor Wat. The ancient buildings back to 11th to 12th century. The buildings are in good condition. Definitely a must visit location.Written 2 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - pianocelloShah Alam, Malaysia1,985 contributionsThe story behind this and the statues are quite interesting. It is best done as part of a trip to Phimai Historical Park and you need your own transport.Written 28 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - J0ymermaidBangkok, Thailand127 contributionsSai Ngam (ไทรงาม in Thai) is a giant centuries-old banyan tree. The branches of the tree form a roof, and you can walk under the tree on a walkway of several hundred meters. There a benches and spirit houses along the way. Some might find the place very romantic, others might think it is quite spooky. However, it is worth visiting when you are in Phimai. It is located a few kilometers East of the city center, and you reach it best by bicycle or car. There is no entrance fee. Although we visited the place in the afternoon during high season, it was not busy at all. Near the entrance there are food stalls where you can get local food.Written 27 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
