He was punctual, attentive, friendly, he told us a lot of background information and was one step ahead of us on every need. His restaurant recommendations were spot on, too. We parted as friends and anybody getting Maxi for a guide can consider themselves lucky. Pak Indra, our driver, was punctual, spoke flawless English in a relaxed and friendly manner, and navigated the crowded streets with remarkable skill and ease. He never rushed us; in fact, he encouraged us to take our time exploring every corner of the sprawling Prambanan Temple, assuring us that there was no strict time limit—only that we had to exit before the park closed.
And, of course, Borobudur and Prambanan Temples are absolute must-sees. These incredible sites offer a deeper perspective and appreciation of Indonesia’s rich culture, history, the resilience and the gentle mannerisms of its people through the centuries.

The temples you visit are breathtaking g, but what made this tour special was my guide Pras and how attentive & funny & kind he was.
Also, this tour is the only one including the guide at Prambanan temple. Ask for Micco there, he is the absolute best!
Also booking was easy and quick (via WhatsApp for all info & paid by credit card).

We had an excellent guide who provided in depth explanations along the way about pretty much everything.....arriving at the Borobudur we were whisked past any queues and were assigned a specialist guide pretty much immediately (but remained available himself as well) so we weren't losing any time. The main advantage, though, is that you get to climb the Borobudur itself, which is generally not the case when going with a large group, as the government has set limits on the number of visitors per day or part of the day. As a result the place is not overwhelmed by tourists and you get a much better impression of this monumental temple. The views from above are impressive as are the stupas and all the different expressions of Buddha with their separate meaning on each level. An awesome experience. While the quality of the assigned guides seems to differ, our was very good and helpful.
On the way back they had organised a buffet lunch, which was quite good, in a place used by these 'personalised' tour operators. As there aren't many facilities catering for larger groups this was an excellent solution and much better than the overcrowded facilities we have experienced with cruise line tours.

The time we visited was off-season, so it was not crowded, and we had a calm trip overall. The organization was great (very fluid and easy communication) and my driver, Adit, has been the best one! Adit explained me a lot of interesting facts and drove me to a Luwak Coffee Shop once he knew I how much I enjoy coffee. I particularly enjoyed the Prambanan visit with Dwi, my guide there. First day to Borobudur, Mirapi lava tour and Prabunan temple. On the Second day to Jomblang cave and Timang beach.
We got very nice trip with Rio and he told so many stories about our visited places and history of Jogja.
