Need to be mindful of tides and river current (quite fun to walk upriver then drift float downstream). I had 2 days of surf ski instruction with Goncalo - which spanned improvements to my technique, learning to ride waves and safety. Goncalo is a terrific instructor and very knowledgeable teacher. I am glad I went to Vila Nova de Milfontes for Goncalo's clinic. Highly recommended and hope to go back soon.
