- Ann23 contributionsAlways a favourite beach to visit. Absolutely perfectly safe for swimming. Excellent for families with young children too. Plenty of restaurants serving great lunches, all more or less priced the same but quite reasonable, so not too expensive. June is a great time to visit, calm seas and not too crowded. We were then told decision was made at head office, this turned out not to be true. We were offered a credit but only to be used at Luz, having burned our bridges by complaining we felt the fair thing to do was to refund us or let us use the credit at another destination.Luis and the team are brilliant but cant recommend Luca or Jonathan Markson as a company. As captain of local tennis team and a business man who rarely leaves negative feedback, I would advise to think twice about this company. The experience was very enjoyable, fun and informative in a picturesque location.
Thanks to Adventure hunt I see Luz with new eyes.
I live locally and have been to Luz numerous times and recommend Adventure hunt to people who live in the Algarve and tourists.
Very reasonably priced too.

Have hired pédalos and jet skis too and this time also booked a dolphin watching trip through them which was excellent. Highly recommend. They even sent me a vid of the sofa ride. - GogoszkaKamisiana, Greece5 contributionsWe took part in a tour with a guide PJ, we chose a longer route of 65 km and the option of using an electric bike on the trip is great you can easily go to the up hill views which on a normal bike is kind of impossible (for a user of single speed from flat city ;)) . The guide is cool and knows all about the roads and tell you before What to do If you are geting closer to a more difficult part ☝🏻 also there is some snack stop and yummy pizza On the end of the tur. We Enjoy todays trip a lot - Thanks PJ!
