Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Chris MBristol, UK17 contributionsThe beach was busy at the weekend when locals tend to use it. The beach is safe for children as it is sheltered and the water is shallow.
The Beach restaurant closed at 6-30 as did the bar.Written 31 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Get there early to park but even when we left after three hours there appeared to be plenty of spaces in easy walking distance.Written 25 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CHARLES YSwansea County, UK117 contributionsAnother coastal gem in the Moraira area. This is yet another beautiful beach, lovely scenery surrounding the crystal clear sea. Another must see.Written 19 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Lyes FLondon, UK87 contributionsGreat views from the top. Not a long climb even from El Portet. Some of the roads are pretty steep, and when you get to the path, it is marked with green and white stripes. The off-road section is a little over a kilometre in length and probably takes a fast walker 20 minutes. The track although steep in places is relatively low gradient, but it is not an easy walk at all. It’s rocky, slippery and jagged at times. Sensible footwear must.Written 2 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- abcKendal, UK20 contributionsGreat for Padel but also Pickleball. One permanent Pickleball court, well shielded from the wind, paddles & balls available free, court hire 10 euros an hour.Written 20 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andrew BDubai, United Arab Emirates275 contributionsWe had fun at this beach as the waves were really big. The beach is OK, though it was very busy. We just spent the whole time in the water. Lots of parking. But max 2 hours which was annoying.Written 7 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ann HYork, UK2,594 contributionsThis 18th Century castle is a beautiful reminder of the history of this area. It is situated right on the seafront and can't be missed if you are in the town. Well preserved, it is not accessible to the public but you can wander round its exterior taking in the views out to sea and imagining all sorts of history in your mind.Written 6 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A holiday in Moraira with friends we took a wine tasting with Martha, what a fantastic experience by an extremely knowledgable person - if you like your wine this is highly recommended.
After a short history lesson taking us back to the Venetian’s the Romans and then Islamic rule and Franco we learnt how the church influenced wine making in Spain.
We tasted 7 different wines from much under rated Cava, through white, rose and into reds, finishing with an ice wine.
Highly recommended, thanks MarthaWritten 11 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The bathrooms are super clean to freshen up afterwards. €29 for the senior car which is easy 40mph+ when you crank it.
