Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great local market. Thought it might just be food but there were all sorts there. Lots of locals. Food on offer was high quality and very interesting. Well worth a visit. We went on a Saturday morning. It was hot and humid but very enjoyable. There was even a cricket match taking place next door.

Go on a first date to this place. It's eccentric, authentic but the main thing was the amount of stars that were set up to be seen. Amazing telescopes and opportunity to view beauty in the skies. Also, saw a crap load of surveillance satellites passing across the lens and the skies. Man was very informative and a wealth of information. Heaps of chairs set up that need cleaning.

Outstanding views east to the coast and west toward Yandina / Blackall Range. Steep climb (130m ascent from car park) on natural track but trail is clear; unsuitable for wheels of any sort. Signed as a 3hr return hike but we did it easily in half that time (including lookout stops). No facilities up top; picnic table at base; dogs permitted on leash. Only a small car park. We tacked this on to visit to Fairhill Nursery and a bit of country drive.

Nice easy walk initially to view the falls. Not enough water for the falls but we followed the track along the creek. Very quiet and peaceful. Drove to the dam and almost had the whole place to ourselves. Plenty of birdlife and nice gardens with picnic areas and BBQ's

Now I understand why you have to wait for a booking! The cooking class plus dinner was a wonderful experience. Simon is definitely a people person and very professional chef. Declan, unobtrusive, but professional kitchen hand. We learnt a lot, dined extremely well, and had fun.
The food was so fresh and really delicious. Generous supply of drinks and the take home aprons were a bonus.

Lot of macadamia products on sale as well as local jams and chocolates. We went late in the day so no activity in the factory to view but it smelt great no the less. Lots of products would make lovely gifts for friends or visitors Prices as on the medium to high side. Staff friendly but leave you to browse.

This shop is a 'happy place' with a friendly and relaxing atmosphere, amazing little finds tucked away in every corner, great coffee and unusual plants that come with a generous amount of advice and tips. Highly recommend you allow heaps of time for the visit as it is hard to leave.
