Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Ton Krabak Yai is a massive tree of 16-meters circumference and 50 meters in height. It's located in a narrow valley along a small crystal-clear stream in Taksin Maharat National Park. Foreigners are charged 200 baht to enter the park (as per usual practice, Thais are charged only 1/10 this amount). The park itself is very neat and well-managed, so I had no problem with the fee. Of course, the big attraction of the park is the big tree -- reputed to be Thailand's largest. To reach the tree, visitors make a 400-meter descent to the valley along a very well-maintained trail with steps constructed the entire way. The stone and concrete steps can be slippery when wet, but there is a handrail to make easier going. Naturally, the return back up the trail from the tree is more challenging but any moderately fit person can easily manage. I love trees, especially big trees, so for me, this was an easy hike to make!

I like this place. It was clean and nice, very green. People showed a good respect by keeping things in order and pretty quiet.
Good to walk around, enjoy 10-30 mins there in the park.

Nice park with cool waterfalls. 200 baht are quite a price for a single entry bit it's a cool place where you can spend at least half a day. And big plus point, when we where there there hadn't been other tourists at all.

Wonderful historical area with a myriad of traditional wooden homes set along a tiny web of alleys. Really takes you back in time.
