Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Matvl5,590 contributionsLes Orgues was a great stop - certainly well worthwhile if you’re in the area. An easy walk and dramatic landscape area which is very photogenic but hard to capture brilliantly. E5 entry, a small shop and a well marked route. The cafe insight is closed which is a pity; but definitely recommend.Written 28 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ColophonPortland, OR210 contributionsThe title truly applies to most of the old parts of Ille-sur-Tet, but this place deserves note. Be sure to wander the Warren of narrow streets surrounding it to get a fuller sense of the history.Written 17 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - David PLeicester, UK107 contributionsThis ancient building was used to look after the sick, and it is fascinating to try and picture it in its heyday as a hospital. I think a visit would be more interesting for Roman Catholics (or Christians anyway) than for an atheist like me; there are many religious relics on show. But it is a beautiful place.Written 30 August 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Kenton2014Aberystwyth, UK2 contributionsBuggy Balade 66 offers a great way of seeing some of the off road sites around ille-sur-tet and surrounding areas. We went as a family with a 3 year old and a 76 year old so it definitely caters for all ages. You do have to call ahead to book as the tours are 2, hours, 1/2 day or full day. The owner does not speak English but his wife does so if you call in the evening this makes booking a little easier for those whose French is poor/non existent. The experience starts with a safety briefing in French but it is easy to follow and there is a translated list of safety instructions, this can take up to an hour depending on the number of buggies going out. You do need a valid drivers license as some of the trip is on public highways. Once the briefing is over you take to the road and then to the dirt roads. Bandannas and safety glasses are supplied. The basic tour takes about 2 hours and there are some scenic stops along the way. The buggies are not power steered and are heavy on the hands but this is just a note not a downside (unless you don't have good upper body strength) and adds to the experience. The scenery is amazing and the driving experience is great. It is not a race it is a sightseeing tour. It costs about 110 Euro per buggy for 2h but is well worth it. Each buggy will take a driver and a passenger. This is highly recommended by my 3 year old. This is definitely well worth seeking out, the start location is on a small industrial unit but is well signed on site. The map on the website/leaflet are good. You do also need to pay for petrol at the end which is about 10 euro for the fuel used in 2 h.Written 12 September 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
