Gastro experience in the Etno selo Bijeli potok unforgettable. Same as before even restaurant was the same with the fireplace in the middle of it, when you may have hot wine and peshkavice (kind of big meatball) . We took the cable car to the top of the mountain and it was a nice panorama on the way. There was still some snow here and there and the Crocuses were blooming and peeking out of the snow.....Beautiful.
Everything was green with lots of flowers.
The air was cool, super clean and crisp - A pleasure to breathe!!
We loved the hike we did around the base, with the towering twin peaks looming above.

- gburghamDarlington, UK58 contributionsDespite the weather forecast we drove to Biogradska Gora determined to walk to Bendovac. It rained all day. We paid €6 to enter the park and set off walking at noon and reached the top in 3 hours. Just below the top, we ate our lunch on a covered picnic bench at Dolovi Lalevica.
The whole walk there and back took 5 hours. The view from the top was obscured by cloud and the rain torrential!
However, it’s a wonderful walk through the forest and well worth the effort. The busts of brave people dot the lawn, the majority are aged 18 to 30. The road to the Captain's lake separates from the part of Nikšić where the Ironworks is located. The road is almost all paved and good. It is about 40 km away from Niksic. About 5 km near the lake is a gravel road. But who does not want to walk, can drive a car. Still, nature is beautiful, so I recommend a walk. The climb wasn’t great, and we enjoyed it. The lake is beautiful, and there are no restaurants or similar facilities on it. From Captain's Lake there is an internship to the next smaller lake.
