Enjoyed a great tasting of some of Kies Family wines but particularly their Shiraz styles. Subtle earthy tones overlaid with berry & chocolate with a peppery after taste. Very different to many Shiraz styles that opt for a heavy, leathery style. Also enjoyed a super rose that opts for a euro style rather than the typical pink sweet concoctions that many producers aim for. Always great to see wine makers standing out from the crowd without going too far. Kies bring a refreshing originalness to their offerings which should be both applauded & enjoyed. Also took advantage of their tawny offerings with the staff bottling on the spot for us. A really unique experience without the hype & commercial approach to many in the valley

WOW!! How beautiful is Seppeltsfield Estate. My husband and I only had coffee at Octeine which is their onsite small cafe at the entrance (could be so much better) but we also came to have a stroll around the estate. They have an onsite restaurant Fino which looked amazing and also the cellar door.

Onsite is a very tasteful shop Vasse Virgin, which is a natural olive oil producer. I spent so much time here sampling their products. The displays and decor are excellent along with the customer service. The stop here is a must when visiting the estate.

Rockford winery is a great little winery with excellent staff. Jenna was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and generous with her time. The wines were nice and we loved the Shiraz VP.
The buildings are old and beautiful.

A marvellous building and complex with a very luxe tasting room. Our hostess Sharon was totally engaging and while wine preferences are personal their shiraz hit our mark with solid bulls eyes. The basic tasting fee was more than just value for money. Parking can be confusing - there is a cellar door lot with stairs down to the entry on each end, and also space behind the building on the 'cellar door floor level'. I would call it one of if not the best of the barossa cellar doors. Ticked every box for this wine junky who normally prefers McLaren Vale.

Beautiful place, great wine and lovely staff ready to assist. It was a nice day so we were able to take a leisurely walk around the grounds. Loved the wine tasting and charcuterie board - it was certainly more than enough for two people for lunch. Great day!

Loved that is was all ladies, with a passion for wine tasting and that it was up to us to choose which wines to taste, together with recommendations from the stuff. Very homey and relaxing feeling, the outdoors area is very well taken care of! Felt like we transported in the European Alps!

Fabulous vineyard and cellar door, we had a delicious lunch platter with local produce and tasting of 6 wines white, rose and reds.
Great views across the vineyard, wonderful hosting by Laura, and the wine was stunning so we have a case on route to Sydney right now
    Highly recommended

Excellent venue, wonderful wines and great value. My one negative would be that the person 'hosting' us was hosting two different tables at the same time. This meant we were sitting around for some time in between tastings. We actually had to get going and were pressed for time, so in the end this was a bit frustrating. I think it would be better to group different groups together and talk to everyone all at the same time rather than the parties having to keep waiting. Otherwise excellent!

My wife and I drove up to the Barossa valley to have a look around some of the wineries.
As we had our Frenchie we looked for a dog friendly winery and came across Two hands winery.
We were greeted by Rachel and we paid $15 for the wine tasting. We were served 8 different wines, which were great and a fantastic explanation of each wine.
Rachel was lovely and we both agreed that it was the best and most informative wine tasting that we had ever experienced.

We visited after a referral - Pindarie has a beautiful cellar door in old stables and the surrounding views are gorgeous just like the wines. We were fortunate enough to be hosted by the manager Stuart himself who was brilliant. Pindarie have some different varieties in their range like Tempranillo, Sangiovese and Montepulciano. Highly recommended.

This not the most attractive wine tasting place we visited. But the amazing staff more than made up for this. Very knowledgeable on the wines and advice on other Vineyards to visit (not something other Vineyards reciporicated).

This set up an awesome day for us.

    Great advice

My fiancée and I visited and were served by Jo.

She was friendly and welcoming. There are a number of different tasting options, and Jo was very generous with her pours. She shared her knowledge freely, and commented that she was able to spend a little bit more time with us because it was a weekday and was a little slower than the weekend.

    A very pleasant experience.

We went to Hentley based on a recommendation from a friend and are so glad we did. We all have different wine tastes and all fell in love with both the reds and whites. The extra touches of foods with the tastings just made it that but more special. If you go try and get Sofie as your Sommelier. She was THE BEST that we have ever had. So accommodating, knowledgeable and flexible with the wine tastings. Thanks for an amazing experience.
