Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A great efficient and well stocked library for all the
family. Easy to register, just a few forms of ID and proof of residence.

Hi people.stayed here for 2 nights mid DEC 2019.Great spot & free.
It was a very windy day when we arrived.
I was born here in Australia.
Gum trees when a water scarcity apparently block of water to a limb (s) which will then idry and ‘crack’ off the tree,,often from a great height.
The slang name for gum trees here are ‘Widow Makers’
Please nb:The branch doesn’t need the wind to make it break.
    Happy & Safe travels.

Note the person who takes the number plates of the vehicle (3 night limit per mth) is dressed in blue like a cop but is not one.
If you did put a tent up (which are not allowed- but as it’s not the unpardonable sin)it’s worth pulling it down by 6 or 7 am.B4 the ‘blue guy’ rocks up ;)

It's like a underground cave when you enter, the crystals are lit up so it's like walking through a cave, you can buy the fresh salt, people are friendly it's a small.place and very nice. Plenty of crystals everywhere.

Aleenta Barre, is a wonderful studio situated at Mermaid Waters offering a variety of Barre classes, yoga and fit. The owner Alicia choreographs the routines that change monthly. With regular visits you will be toned in no time with the benefit of increasing your core strength. The classes run by the lovely Barre Tenders are fun and a great time is had by all. Age and fitness levels are catered for and any egos are left at the door.

First time to City Cave Mermaid Waters booked in for the 60min single float & 45min sauna. As a first timer I was welcomed by Sofia at reception & felt very welcome & relaxed with her exceptional customer service, was given a short video to watch about what to expect, the health & safety guidelines , overview of the whole experience.
Sofia walked me to the sauna room & was very clear & smooth with explaining the features & etiquette of the sauna treatment room.

With in 3min in the sauna,my whole world of resistance just dropped away.
Room was clean, beautiful lighting & nice towels & robe.
Sofia came to get after my sauna, asked how my experience was & proceeded to take me through the float pool with professionalism & duty of care.

Well what can I say, the float experience will become a special treat to myself in the future, loved it. A shallow perfectly heated salt pool, I felt weightless, held & healed, lying on my back & supported with a water pillow, with abundant chill out lounge music to soothe every cell in my body. Feeling re energised, open & connected to all elements of wellbeing.
Sofia, offers my a herbal tea & chill out in the lounge area reflecting what a beautiful experience this is for so many that chose to slow down & gift themselves a retreat.
Sofia is brilliant, great customer service, well spoken & is an asset to your business, highly recommended.

    Regards
    Darren Baranello
