Great for walking or cycling although lots of other activities to do with climbing and abseiling, bug house, water park, wind surfing, kayaking and it even has its very own beach.
Once parked you can then wader the much larger nature reserve with a lot of hides, the variety of wetland here attracts a variety of different birdlife.

I enjoyed the natural, unique hands-on nature of this experience and will definitely return.
The car park is small so arrive early.

Easy to find, easy to park, suitably flat for individuals with walking sticks.
There are loos by the car park, a café, and many staff or volunteers (not sure which) working in the gardens and happy to talk about the plants.
