What travellers are saying
- jake2771Concord, MA271 contributionsInteresting information about tonnario, nice bird viewing. The beach has a lot of vegetal
Debris. Once your got through it the water was clear and refreshing. 3,500 e to park and 3 e for park ticket.Written 19 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Stephen LCambridge, UK443 contributionsI was in Noto for the day in early June. It wasn't that busy even on a Sunday, just a few tourists. Parking was easy on one of the main narrow streets. Lots to see, lovely restaurants, a beautiful, charming town.Written 19 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ianx17489Inverurie, UK823 contributionsIt's quite stunning and impressive from the outside. The grand stairs leading up to the baroque building is quite impressive. The interior although understated compared to other cathedrals is still wonderful. It's no surprise this area of Noto achieved UNESCO status.Written 11 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- IlyaNJMarlboro, NJ787 contributionsThe palace has a number of reasonably decorated rooms, headlined by the beautiful Ball Room. Easily worth €4/pp and 20 minutes of time. Look at the balconies when outside - the supports are varied and amazing. And make sure to step outside onto the balconies when visiting.Written 7 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- spqrlnd777London, UK199 contributionsClean, natural amazing beach. The Gay area is at the end of the second beach ( you have to climb the rocks after the little river.
Warm sean in September 2019
Nudism is OK there too.

Ps. There's no shops or bars better to take all what you need ( water , food ... )Written 23 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Michele Amico🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹Caltanissetta, Italy2,867 contributionsIn the east side of the Sicily Island, there is the beautiful city of Noto, in the Siracusa area, this is a great example of the Baroque.Written 5 June 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Katharine Z99 contributionsThis beach is part of the vendacari reserve. When we visited in September we followed the signs from the main road. It is a dirt track / unmade up road to a car park that charged 3 euro. You then walk back to the entrance of the reserve where they were taking temperature checks, and recording visitor details for track and trace. Entry to the reserve was then another 3 or 3.5 euros( can’t quite remember!) per person. There is a family ticket but this is just for immediate family (eg 2 adults with children) it can’t be used for siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles etc (there was a long argument going on about this in Italian!)
You then walk into the reserve to the beach. It’s a good 20 mins when you are carrying all your beach stuff and in the heat (no shade) so come prepared. Eventually you get to steps down to the beach. The beach is a cove and very pretty, although being a nature reserve the sand had quite a bit of natural debris (pieces of wood etc) so don’t expect immaculate groomed sand. There are no facilities (as you would expect) so you need to bring EVERYTHING with you. It was very windy the day we went, not sure if that is normal so it made it hard to keep an umbrella up and there were waves in the sea- but still very nice for a swim. We didn’t explore other beaches on the reserve but good for at least one visit. However I think there were overall nicer beaches in the area.Written 18 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Joy C1 contributionExcellent moment to spend with extremely friendly French guide Rossario, who knows almost everything in the palace. At first we found it expensive to pay 25 euros for guided visit but after the visit we found it worth double or more because we were able to go through not only the history of the place but also the passion and the passion in art collection from the owner of the palace. Top of the best explorations in Sicily so far.Written 6 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- 99flakeBerkshire, UK168 contributionsBeautiful compact church, unusually shaped inside. The 2 Euros for the choir and tower access is the main attraction - get the classic view of the cathedral and the square in front, with plenty of room to walk on the top of the tower. You can also see where the nuns used to sing down to the church.Written 25 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Shorty55_13Marborough, MA72 contributionsWe happened upon this archeological site while traveling through the area. A farm property once covered the remains of a Roman villa which primarily contain very detailed mosaic floors depicting various hunting and mythological scenes as well as intricate borders.Written 11 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Christine029South West England, UK226 contributionsWould definitely recommend this beach area. Lovely walks around here with bird life evident in lagoon behind beach. Many flamingos.
Parking is tricky along road, but there is a car park. It is a reasonable walk from beach area, about 20-25 mins, which would be fine if just walking, but not so easy in 30 degrees plus carrying beach umbrella, towels etc.Written 18 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - LondonLockwoodLoughton, UK784 contributionsReally enjoyed Aqua Beach .. Quite lucky to get be in here as it was a weekend but they were kind enough to find beds .. Excellent !
The beach itself was beautiful.. Crystal clear waters as well .. Had lunch which was fine although service was a bit hit and miss but overall quality was good.
If you are staying in the area i would highly recommend a day here . Must mention the staff at reception who were nothing short of superb .
A must day out !Written 14 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - LondonLockwoodLoughton, UK784 contributionsSan Lorenzo Beach Club is a great way to spend a day. We visited during the week and pre-booked ( essential for a weekend id say ) for 20 Euros for two beds and a parasol .. bargain ! Not only were we very close to the beach the club but taking lunch here is a must. Great menu with superb pizzas to boot ! Showers are also available to wash yourself down before leaving .
All in all a recommended day out .. Superb !Written 14 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - PalmerLondon, UK2 contributionsWe love this beach bar! So lucky to find it. Beds are spacious and comfy, music is fab and the Bar / Restaurant is great. The staff are absolutely lovely, fun, friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is superb, from a TunaOnionTomato salad to the delicious PestoPastaKingPrawn and Spaghetti Seafood - every meal was delicious!
Prices are very reasonable and it’s all very clean. Beach is pure sand. Make sure you reserve your beds, it’s the best beach club in Lido di Noto!
