Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Clara GVence, France81 contributionsThis beautiful beach was 5 minutes from our hotel! First day we were in love with the white sand and clear water. The water temperature was quite fresh already for middle October . They have parking and small coffee shops around. Don’t miss this in your trip!Written 18 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Andy LCadiz, Spain207 contributionsFirst things first, this is a beach that you have to book and pay to visit and then pay to park your car. Not sure if it's any better than the hundreds of free beaches...maybe.
We had two experiences on the same day. We went to the north end in the morning and were not that impressed. Ten minute walk to the beach, sand nothing special and the sea not particularly impressive. After lunch we entered via the south car park and had a much better time. Shallow warm turquoise water that was great for splashing around in.
It's quite a narrow beach so it was a bit crowded even though numbers are limited.
All in all, a good day out but if you can't book tickets in high season it's not as though it's loads better than other beaches on this coastWritten 14 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Web GSalisbury, UK2 contributionsMy wife and I had the dawn ride and it was delightful, quietly riding through the early light was quite beautiful. The staff there were friendly, helpful and professional, they pointed out wildlife and took pictures of us. The horses were well behaved and the saddles were very comfortable. Molto bene!Written 18 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- LorenzoRome, Italy5 contributionsThe beach is extremely nice. As every other place in Sardegna (especially in August) during the weekend its extremely crowded, however if you stay until 7 pm you the beach is almost empty.
One of my favorite places near San Teodoro.Written 6 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. if you go to the right you can discover small beaches where you will almost alone also in high season
Be carefull for parking - it is paidWritten 27 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Sorin G45 contributionsThis is a great beach hidden under the rocks. The water is beautiful and also the landscape. You have to walk about half an hour from the road and the last part is walking through the rocks really difficult and need special shoes. Apart from tis beach there are also other small sandy spots, for one or two towels maximum. It can get crowded as it is a small beach. - Diletta NLondon, UK13 contributionsThe stagno is really stunning, especially at sunset. It's easier to see the flamingos from the ss125, but the location is still peaceful and worth a visit. Just avoid eating at the Peschiera restaurant... If you want to save the 12 euros for the boat trip, take the service to and from la Cinta North (4 euros) and combine your visit with a trip to a very nice beach :)Written 10 August 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dee SAylesford, UK548 contributionsVery difficult walk . Tough on the knees coming down . We went by bus from
san Teodoro . Long walk from the bus through Straulas to the start of the walk . There is a shuttle bus but is every hour . Not sure of the cost . We turned right at the junction with the " natural swimming pool " and hiked up to the top . Paladimonti 675 meters. Difficult in some sections . We witnessed a couple of cars struggling on the steep terrain . Well worth the trek up - but tough . Make sure you take drinks and light snacks .Written 28 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
