Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Herrenmuhle was used to be a grain mill. It didn't operated any longer but the turbine is still keep turning. So you will see a beautiful small waterfall. There are some closed barns and one is open. The birdhouses are the eye catcher. They hang everywhere with its information of its occupant. Some art work are on the field. It's a very small area and you can walk around but you should take account of the people who live there.

This eye catching building at the end of the Markt, the main street of Meppen, is the historic town hall of Meppen, built in tje 15th century and enlarged in the 17th century. Due to the architecture and the historic value it is worth more than a passing look. A bit out of tune is the cafe on the ground floor. I found it a bit uninviting, but surely I got this completely wrong. However, this historic building is well up on the list of buildings to visit in Meppen.

The deep red and yellow colors draw attention to this Baroque church in the center of Meppen. The facade is adorned with sculptures of Mary in the center, while higher up are Ignatius and Aloisius, both important Jesuits. The church dates from 1746 and served as a schoolchurch for the nearby gymnasium.
