Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Adriana G4 contributionsI enjoyed much of my trip to Maragogi and Antunes beach. The sea has a lovely temperature, not cold nor warm. The sea water is very clean and calm. Walking in the sand one can feel the mild wind and the air temperature is just perfect. Walking around the area is gorgeous because one can get in touch with the local people, which is very friendly and the mancraft very diverse. The food is delicious with wonderful fishes and mandioca. Me and my husband had a fantastic time. We want to return as soon as possible.Written 29 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. That is so because that are still some large fish. Just run away from the crows and you will be in to observe octopus preying upon some big shellfish and some large parrot fish.Written 3 February 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. At low tide the beach reaches long into the ocean and is perfect for a beautiful stroll. At high tide the water is shallow until far from the shore and is safe for swimming with kids. You can also find cockles (mariscos) all over the beach, which are a local delicacy. The authentic beach village is quiet, yet offers a variety of mini supermarkets, a couple of restaurants and even an ice cream café. Higly recommended.Written 10 February 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Eduardo SucupiraRio de Janeiro, RJ176 contributionsThis "tour" is absolutely unmissable! It starts very early in the morning, but it really values any effort. From 7 km from the coast you will be in contact with the sea life at the recife corals pools. The temperature is comfortable. Amazing programme!Written 20 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
