Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Reviews CentralUnited Kingdom21 contributionsAmazing tour, very informational. The tour guides English was really good too, and they were very passionate about their job and I loved every minute of it. Would 100% recommend.Written 26 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Fearless7645363 contributionsA walk into history in a very well-kept and authentic site. The reception and tour guide were most helpful and the explanation was very clear and interactive. Leonardo was an excellent tour guide, making the visit an experience to remember. The history and aesthetic of the place make it a spot to be visited for persons interested in medieval history. Incidentally, the place is still in use as a summer residence of the Grandmaster of the Order of the Knights of St John of Malta.Written 16 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Visiting Fattoria di Montemorli was an extraordinary experience! From the moment we arrived, Vittorio, the 7th generation of his family to run this incredible winery with his brothers and parents , welcomed us with open arms. His passion for winemaking and deep connection to the land is evident in every aspect of the visit.
The winery itself is stunning, with views that perfectly complement the exceptional wines we had the pleasure of tasting. Vittorio’s insights and stories about the history and process behind each wine added a personal touch that made the experience truly unforgettable.
If you’re looking for a place where tradition, quality, and heartfelt hospitality come together, Fattoria di Montemorli is an absolute must-visit. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!Written 2 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. How many children do they have now? It is on our bucket list to come back from NZ one day.Written 9 June 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - The Wandering ReviewerMelbourne, Australia12,046 contributionsPoggibonsi centro rectangular Fortezza di Poggio Imperial was a serendipitous find. The eye catching rusted sculpture of a man high on the rampart caught our eye and that was it, we loved it. There isn’t a lot to see but there is certainly a lot of space and I imagine school kids could come here and play around. There are historic sections to this place where there are role plays and re-enactments. There is a small shop for coffee, cake and icecream. Parking is good right at the bottom. Note the very rotted door at the entrance to the rectangular piazza (which is covered in grass). Not very wheelchair friendly but okay if you have a frame or a cane. Definitely kid friendly.Written 8 May 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- FlannoCounty Kildare, Ireland89 contributionsThe fountain is located in the archaeodromo park of Poggibonsi in a well signed location with parking onsite.
It could do with a bit of restoring/ clean-up but the sculptures within and the team of little and large turtles paddling around added a nice surprise. The sculptures are quite eery. We enjoyed a walk around the park itself and while it was a Sunday evening as suggested for the historical re-enactments, there were very few people around. There were a couple of local archaeologists within the archaeodromo medieval village reconstruction. They are obviously passionate about their work and have done a great job but had no English and we had very little Italian so we just smiled and waved!
Overall, a nice slice of Poggibonsi's past, but the fountain area needs a bit of clean up work.Written 17 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JGandIGWigan, UK284 contributionsHighlight was Donatello's pulpit - currently undergoing restoration but you can pay €1 to walk around the scaffolding and get close to the pulpit. Worth the extra money to do this. The simple stone slab that marks the grave of Cosimo il Vecchio is such a contrast to the Medici Mausoleum in the Cappelletti Medicee.Written 18 May 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Luca HCopenhagen, Denmark1 contributionWe had a great trip with Fabio and the team of Camelot Sports Events. We were a group of 14 pax from Denmark who was in Tuscany for a company team building. Through Camelot we booked trekking with a great guide, we booked transfers that were there on time or early, we booked a fantastic cooking class where we had dinner with the hosts and family afterwards, we booked wine tasting at Cesani wineyard one of the finest wineyards for Vernacio white wine Vernacio. Everything was A+ and we had a great trip. We are already planning our next trip. We canceled one person 2 days before and got a fair refund.Written 22 May 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
