A good car park, with walks around the gardens, allow at least two hours to fully enjoy the gardens, don't bother coming at other times of the year as the will be close.

Once in the visitors car park, and a very pleasant stroll to the house and gardens beyond, House tour was great, guide very informative, talking about everything from 15th century to present day.
The park is set in a wonderful area with extensive views and hundreds of Canada geese were feeding in the field in front of the house.

Great walk in lovely countryside, parking was easy lots of spaces even though other reviews said its hard to park. being NT members parking was free, a bonus!.
