What travellers are saying
- Jesus UManila, Philippines31 contributionsA relaxing place to do early morning walk or jog. Feel the sea air in the morning with noises of birds near the Bethel Hotel area. A short walk along the breakwater to kick-start your day. A visit during the evening will provide you a taste for the local street foods and occasional programs during festivals.Written 28 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andre L18 contributionsNot too bad. But getting too touristy. It used to be easy to go-to, now it's got too much shops around itWritten 22 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- lanavalManila, Philippines1,403 contributionsIt was so refreshing to stay even at the view deck alone and marvel on the mountain, the lake and the foliage surrounding the restaurant on the deck. The food was good and very cheap.Written 12 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Alton AAuburn, WA30 contributionsThe boardwalk by the ocean is a nice place to relax. A few good restaurants right across the street and around the corner q couple of blocks is a shopping mall. Very nice people there compared to other towns I have visited. I do not I repeat do NOT recommend renting a scooter and driving in traffic there. No law enforcement and some roads turn from pavement to rock with no warning.Written 13 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - John TCebu City, Philippines1,068 contributionsI've been to a number of University Museums throughout the Philippines and this among the best - good size, updated facility, and well-lit. The Museum was established in 1970 by Dr. Hubert I. Reynolds, an American missionary member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and former Anthropology professor in Silliman University, to house the collection of the Cultural Research Center that started in 1964. The collection is composed of archaeological items - which date back as early as 500-200 B.C - from previous excavation all over Negros and parts of Mindanao and collected ethnological items from the various indigenous groups from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Adult admission was p100 each.Written 19 April 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- MarvsCebu Island, Philippines5 contributionsWe climbed the second highest mountain in Negros Island! Our first stop was with the twin falls then we headed to our camp site which was in the Camp Rancho. The place was so nice and wide! We took a bath in the near river. The next morning we resumed our hike. We were able to stop at the sulfur vent (it was amazing!). Then we pitched out tent in front of Lake Nailig. We stop a bit to take our lunch then we resume hiking going to the peak. Sadly, when we arrived we weren't able to get some clearing due to bad weather. Anyways the hike was fun! 😊😊Written 25 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Zeph3 contributions..made us proud to know someone in our community offering his expertise, time, skills, and knowledge to us. Overall, it is a meaningful experience and looking forward to see ideas taking shape and happening. When you come by Dumaguete, make sure to visit Omoyon Bee Farm and BEE ready for a taste of pure honey from our very own kiwot (stingless and one of our native bees), sweet calamansi fruit (he got some tricks to show haha!), and many more. Thanks Rico!Written 24 November 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- LolaGo1Washington DC, DC6,459 contributionsLocated near my hotel, it is one of the attractions I visited. The Belfry and the beautiful Park are in the same vicinities.

If you want to dress up the display cabinet in your home anywhere in the world, these pieces will do so wonderfully!
Make the trip to Bacong, only a short ride from the heart of Dumaguete. And tell your friends back home?Written 2 December 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Luke ORedruth, England, United Kingdom8 contributionsWe had an excellent time here. Lots of slides and water features including a tipping bucket. Pirate ships. Small slides for little kids, bigger slides too. Big pool for swimming. Small spa pool. The 2 biggest slides had weight limits and i only went on lower one, top one looked dodgy.
Also appreciated was the poolside bar where you can sit on a seat in the water and have a cold beer. Food was fine.
