Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

No trip to Hawaii would be complete without a visit to the world-famous Waikiki beach in Honolulu. Not much of a beach really but it's still a much visit. If you are there on Monday. Tuesday or Wednesday make sure you catch the free hula and Hawaiian show presented at 9:00 am.

Took great pictures and really enjoyed the hike even though the water fall had very low flow. Do not recommend getting in the water; PATHOGENS 🦠!
    Bring water, and BUG SPRAY!

54 year old moderately fit female solo hiker. It took me 40 minutes to go up, taking it slow paced and many breaks to take pics and sips of water. It is definitely a good idea to go early. I got there at 8 on a Saturday and parking was easy. The coolness of early morning definitely helps. I found the way down to be much harder than going up. At the top the steepness of the steps was a bit scary for me going down, so I really took my time. It took me as long to get down as it did to go up. About halfway it is much less steep, so I could go faster like regular steps. The views at the top are absolutely worth it! So glad I did it!

The trail gradually ascends to the summit, with a few spots along the way toward the top offering great views of the water and places to sit and take a break. We spotted several whale spouts and a few fins breaking the surface. The wind helped keep us cool as we hiked. It took us just under two hours total; to reach the top, with stops for rest, photos along the way and back to the car. We’re all in our sixties and enjoyed the views.

Visited Customer Service to renew my Kama’aina Membership. Noah had great customer service skills and was efficient at processing the renewal. Also visited Kona Purveyors, but the line was too long; Food Court, but nothing seemed appealing; Mitsuwa for musubis, and Magnolia for macapuno ice cream. Lots of parking.

Really nice museum full of interesting items and historical facts..

Forget about Waikiki beach, this beach is much better and it's where the locals go. Plenty of white sand with a snack bar and several public restrooms. Located about half a mile from Waikiki easily walking distance for anyone.

We have missed this place during our first trip 3 years ago, and I did not realize at the time how cool of a view this spot provides, and also how easy it is to get here.

It's normal, perfectly paved road through a residential area leading all the way to the top - some scenic views along it already. At the top there is a small parking lot - I read everywhere that it's THE place for the sunset, but also that meant struggling with the parking so we visited it during early afternoon hours and we parked without any issues.

There is some history here about the original Macadamia nuts grown on Hawaii (who would have thought Oahu was the first one in Hawaii) that were brought from Australia, I believe, but also some stuff to read about the craters you can see in the area - pretty cool reads, so not just pretty vistas :)

This was probably the best stops we made while on Oahu, to us more moving than the USS Arizona. Acres and acres of headstones along with the descriptions of the modern conflicts this country has been in. The names of those who have fought and their human remains have not been returned is humbling to say the lease. Beautiful area and well worth slowing down to take it all in.

We walked along the beach areas of Waikiki daily while on holiday. During the day it’s very busy and there is lots of traffic on the main road next to the beach. There are plenty of stores across the street to go into for a cold drink, ice cream or souvenirs. Along the beach and park areas there are various statues to admire with flower leis hanging on their arms or their necks. People leave these before flying home. In the evenings it’s a great place to watch the sunsets and lights of the hotels. On Friday nights there is a fireworks display which lights up the sky over Waikiki.

Fort DeRussy Beach Park was really beautiful. The US Army of Hawaii Museum was also there. The landscape was beautiful.
We enjoyed so much walking in here.

It is like a mall just anywhere in the world because the majority of the stores and shops offer very expensive products.
The good thing is that there are some shops that sell only local artists creations.
Anyway, it is worth spending here an hour or so.

A good sized park located between Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head. There are frequently displays, free Hawaiian Band Concerts and today the Waikiki Art Fest, Zoo Wall Art and the Na Hula Festival all on the one day.
