Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The exquisite seaside former home of Doris Dike is the home of her spectacular collection of Islamic art from around the world.

So beautiful and historic, the collection is both educational and breathtaking.

    Highly recommended.

Sits behind or in front of statue of King Kamehameha depending on where you're standing.
Old art deco building which you can definitely go in and check out Monday thru Friday, has a historic wing too (on left side), but not open, guard told me closed "indefinitely", still building is nice to explore and it's marble staircases.

Great tour with very informative and enthusiastic guide. Sweeping 180 degree views of Honolulu. The architecture of the mid century house was amazing. During the tour you learn about the history of the original owner and his family, the acquisition of the property, the architect and the actual construction. Of interest was learning about family life in the house during the 50's and 60's in Hawaii. A very enjoyable tour.

Nicely restored building with a small gift shop and restrooms. There was a table at the entrance about tours but there was no one there. Worth a few minutes stop.
