Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- BarkleysRockingham, Australia70 contributionsWhat a wonderful winery that’s very welcoming to dogs. We booked a picnic experience which comes with a bottle of wine, sadly the weather was very hot so we instead sat on a comfy sofa and enjoyed our wine and cheese indoors. The selection of meats and cheese was amazing and they were all very delicious. The white wine was crisp and refreshing on that hot summers day too. The staff member was extremely bubbly and made us feel at ease. He also had a wealth of knowledge on briar wine and wine as a whole. We would definitely come back here and recommend to dog owners.Written 12 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JTKapitiKapiti Coast, New Zealand2 contributionsThe absolute best of traditional wineries. Superb wines with a great history and all made by feel and palette rather than laboratory and measure. You can taste the commitment to excellence.
Try the different aged Shiraz offerings, enjoy the wonderful location and views, and be indulged by your lovely and knowledgeable hostess. Huge thanks Cherine - a fabulous way to finish our time in the Hunter region.Written 22 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Hanna K1 contributionWe had such a great time with Pippa! As not entirely inexperienced wine connoisseurs from Germany, the tour was totally worth it. We gained all kinds of new insights into wine tasting and making by visiting a variety of different great vineyards. We can highly recommend booking a tour with Pippa - she's the best!
