Just Wow. What an absolutely amazing experience. Did the mystery wine tour. Sitting on the edge of the vines tasting beautiful wines, beautiful cheese board, and taking us through the wines head winemaker Andrew who couldn’t have done enough for us. An amazing boutique experience (oh and the wines are amazing too). Thanks Andrew and team

The absolute best of traditional wineries. Superb wines with a great history and all made by feel and palette rather than laboratory and measure. You can taste the commitment to excellence.
Try the different aged Shiraz offerings, enjoy the wonderful location and views, and be indulged by your lovely and knowledgeable hostess. Huge thanks Cherine - a fabulous way to finish our time in the Hunter region.

My husband and I did the wine and pie tasting. It was absolutely fantastic. My husband said the pies were delicious. I am gluten free and the chef kindly made one large gluten free pie for me which was incredible. It’s hard to find a quality GF pie but this one was outstanding. My husband tried it and could hardly tell the difference.
The wines were absolutely lovely especially the sparkling brut which is one of the best I’ve tried.
Our host Dilek was wonderful - she could not have been more welcoming or helpful.
Only regret is we could not stay longer as we had another booking. Next time we will be staying longer to enjoy the incredible atmosphere and experience.
100% guarantee this vineyard and tasting - we cannot wait to return.

We stopped in here as part of a wine tour (Gourmet Getaway Wine Tours) and were impressed by the quality of wines on offer at this winery. Nice views of the rolling hillside looking out from the cellar door, which has outside seating to enjoy the views while tasting some wine. Cellar door staff were very informative and friendly, and we bought a carton of wine, which was sitting at home for us when we got back from our holiday. Would come back here again next time we are in the region.

Very rustic boutique venue half an hours drive from Moama at Womboota. Sampled the full range from the sweeter mead wines through to the dryer varieties. Cracker biscuits and cheese provided to accompany the tastings. Friendly informative host to guide you through the tasting styles and recommended food accompaniments.
Wide range of wines to choice from at assorted prices. Picnic facilities available.Venue has online purchasing website . Artisan pottery studio onsite with range of unique pottery to view and purchase.

We had such a great time with Pippa! As not entirely inexperienced wine connoisseurs from Germany, the tour was totally worth it. We gained all kinds of new insights into wine tasting and making by visiting a variety of different great vineyards. We can highly recommend booking a tour with Pippa - she's the best! Thank you very much - Katrin & Hanna

Once you experience a wine tour with HV Tours, you’ll never want to go back to anything else. The service was incredible, and we absolutely loved our day with Bree. She’s so personable and took excellent care of us, handling all our bookings at the cellar doors and restaurant throughout the day. Bree made us feel like VIPs, and we were treated as such at every stop just by being with her. We highly recommend HV Tours, and we’re so glad we chose a private wine tour. It made the experience so much more special and intimate. Thank you, Bree!
