Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Рамиль ХMoscow, Russia133 contributionsIf you are going to Afyon, I advise you to visit this oldest mosque of the city of the 13th century. Its interior does not leave anyone indifferent. Near the mosque there is a staircase on the mountain to the city fortress, and within walking distance there are many family cafes. This city I loved and remembered, they have their own characteristic decoration of houses. I advise you to visit this historic area of peculiar and beautiful town Afyon!Written 1 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - b0fiStuttgart, Germany330 contributionsThe view from the castle is outstanding. If you mastered the very steep way up (mostly stairs), you get rewarded with a 360 degree view of Afyonkarahisar. Especially the old part (with the Ulu Camii) is beautiful. The castle itself is empty and consist only of the outer walls.Written 24 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Рамиль ХMoscow, Russia133 contributionsOur family visited Frygia Park during the winter season. We could not miss the attention to such a historical heritage and a living monument of the past civilization. If you going on yourself car, use maps where historical objects are marked with photo, or use the guide guide. Because road signs can't give you the best route to the most interesting places. We really liked it here!Written 1 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Afyonkarahisar is a city in western Turkey. It is a very small city with some Byzantine antiquities and an ancient antiquities museum. Small scattered markets and shops with a shopping complex. Its residents are good, simple people. It is nice to know this city in Turkey.Written 1 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - utkan ulucayIstanbul, Türkiye514 contributions1874 meters high, curvy road, sharp cliffs, cool wind, impressive place... I have seen the treches, listen my flag flying in the wind... I have read cv of 3 Mustafa’s: Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Mustafa İsmet İnönü, Mustafa Fevzi Çakmak... They were not mere soldiers; Atatürk speaks French and German, İnönü speaks French and English, Çakmak speaks French, German, English, Russian, Albenian, Arabic, Persi... They have started from here and ended in İzmir in 15 days as Atatürk promised for 430 kilometers, on foot, while putting off forest fires and fighting.
