What travellers are saying
- ashvini rBristol10 contributionsStayed here for 4 nights. Our room was beach facing and had a balcony. We had my birthday lunch in the balcony. Absolutely loved it. Hotel also has a private beach. Best part was the number of sparrows around the hotel. You would wake up to their songs :) .
Breakfast had live cooking and a wide spread of things you could eat and fresh fruits.
One thing to avoid is city sightseeing counter in the lobby. Their buses are infrequent and they cost double the amount you would get tours in the city.Written 16 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Absolutely gorgeous views from the top and well worth the visit, if you can manage the stairs.Written 14 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - juliaandadam123Ashford, UK1,727 contributionsThèse little splash parks are perfect for little ones (under 10?) and even better that this one is free! Much safer than then bobbing about in the sea it they’re young. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby too.Written 10 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- juliaandadam123Ashford, UK1,727 contributionsBlue sky! Blue sea! What more could you want? Whilst there is no real beach here the sea is inviting enough and there are plenty of rocky outcrops to leave your belongings on.Written 10 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lutfy DTunis, Tunisia564 contributionsI WAS A STUDENT IN MALTA FRom 2015-2017 and i had the opportunity to go to café del Mar several times during the summer season that year with my friends from all over the world . As our Maltese Supervisor said we had THE TIME OF OUR LIVES . In fact after our Master exams we needed to relax and have some fun so we went there to club and by chance we attended that night THE FRENCH World Famous DJ BOB SINCLAR who was performing it was simply an unforgettable night . In addition i still remember the drink that i had ( a tasty sex onthe beach cocktail)
Café Del Mar is also a place where you can seat and do nothing but admiring the breathtaking view of the swimming pool and the sea at the same time i recommend you go there before the Sunset to enjoy the romantic moment of the view you can dinner too
To sum up Café Del Mar is the perfect place for all types of event a person or a company needsWritten 22 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. While winter time was more windy and seas choppy, it was still a decent experience. Best time, albeit most expensive, would be summer!Written 1 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Martin BEastbourne, UK94 contributionsA one off, mid range 1 hour treat (about 35euros) which was for 3kids and 1 adult, Which included swimming jackets for 2 kids.
It was about 100m swim from the rocky beach to the inflatables, which is made easier with the swimming aid jackets for the younger two9,7) and also by the long rope holding bouys and the inflatables in place. On the inflatables was fun, sometimes hard to keep on your feet! And fun to climb, jump, slip and slide around in a unique setting.Written 3 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The sea view is good, but because Malta is generally dirty I wouldn’t even dip a toe in the sea! This area was pretty to look at and it was nice to watch the sea while having lunch.Written 14 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Arthur CBury, UK272 contributionsLovely bay and promenade with views out to St Paul's island where you can take a boat trip to. Plenty of restaurants and bars to eat at. The beach is not sandy but there were people swimming in the sea. Located in a quiet angle of the Salina park, can be an interesting addition to a nice walk in the park.Written 30 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
