This museum and gardens were exceptional. The museum gives a history of Chihuly glass and explains the thinking behind the various pieces in an easy and accessible way. The art is beautiful and striking. The gardens have so many interesting plants as well that I have as many pictures of plants as I do glass. Really enjoyed our time here. Great gift shop as well!

I spent about 4 hours at the museum. I had arranged a private docent tour and it was all I had hoped for. The docent is a retired commercial pilot and offered lots of great information. On my own I did a lot of wandering around and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'll go back next time I'm in Seattle

Pike Market is Seattle's vibrant area. It is the place to be if you want to buy some original items, help the community and enjoy the local spirit.

What a great way to get to Port Angeles via Bainbridge Island. The people working were great at navigating people who were new to the system. Left on time. Loved all the spaces of where to sit and the options to get food. The ride was part of the experience.

If you are looking for a beautiful view of the city skyline and a great backdrop for a selfie, look no further than Kerry Park!

We went up to the observatory on a Saturday afternoon. No line to wait in and not many people at the observation deck. This made the experience feel much less frantic than our visit to the Space Needle the day before. We didn't buy the extras, just the basic ticket. It was nice to be able to spend time taking in the view without having to jostle between people taking selfies as was the case with the Needle. We also sat and had a drink from the bar and sat and watched the view. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Known locally as the Ballard Locks, this is a great spot to watch boats pass through locks between a freshwater lake and the saltwater bay. It is also surrounded by lovely greenery and nearby botanical gardens. A nice relaxing spot to spend a few hours.

When we visited there was a snowstorm that hit Seattle. There were some animals out. The ones that we did see were cool to look at. They looked big too. They didn't look frail like some other zoos that we've been to. There was a night light parade going on too. Those were super nice to see!

a must do in seattle; nice park here and the gift shop is great. Snack area is excellent. Easy to take the tram to and from the Needle and other places of interest; I loved our trip to Seattle!

The inside sets you back to 1900 to 1920 period - great interior. View is OK nowadays (plenty of higher structures around) , but was for sure unique at the early time of this tower.

This mostly natural park has an amazing set of semi-paved (often covered in mud) trails, including a 2.8 mile loop. The far end of the park is where it meets the Puget Sound, and its really stunning. Lots of people go to stare at the water, draw, meditate.

The trails are definitely not accessible friendly, and require comfort with talking on varying paths, rocks, and mud....lots of mud. Try the north parking lot for better acessibility..

Took an Alaskan cruise for one purpose - to visit Pike Place Fish Market! Was not disappointed, even though our visit was on a Sunday morning! Still a very active place!

If you're looking for some beach action in Seattle, look no further than Alki Beach. This place is in a great part of Seattle. The sand is soft, and there is even some beach volleyball to be had. I went during the week as I prefer the off-peak hours and it was glorious. Definitely worth the trip to West Seattle.
