What travellers are saying
- Ashutosh1 contributionFavorite activities: Rocket Ejector and swoop swing. Must have experience. Anyone visiting lonavala is recommended to have this experience.Written 14 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- DevendraMumbai, India9 contributionsThe place is so well maintained and also peaceful place. We were there for atleast 30 mins, the surrounding with red rose garden gives it much better look..Written 9 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Sachin4 contributionsA must watch place with kids. Good trek with family. A lot of scenic view and cool breeze till the main door of the Fort. After that steps are not in good condition. Amazing view of Pawana Dam and all other area. A worth trip.
Be careful if you driving from Karla to Bhaja cave to Lohgad .
Its Steep Zigzag road hence all the new driver please do not attempt to drive unless you have skilled driver right next to you. Its only one car drive hence try to go via alternate route (Dudhiware khind)
Comparatively road from Dudhiware khind road to Lohad and back to Lonavala or Pune is comparative good and has less steep zigzag uphill curves. Its comparatively two vehicle passing road. And only problem is that road condition not goodWritten 28 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Rupal MaruJamnagar District, India45 contributionsWe are a couple and booked villa through airbnb and we got the excellent view of Pavana lake overviewing shayadari mountains. From Lonavala it took one hour to reach the villa as the road was very tricky and muddy too. Enroute we saw many camping sites as Pavana is famous for. The atmosphere is very pleasant and enchanting. Sunrise and sunset are amazing. We have a swimming pool with a view of lake and mountains that is really amazing. We spend most of the time in reading Agatha’s autobiography and enjoying the Mother Nature.
Surely I recommend to stay in Princess Vista.
Savita made a very good meal for us. Dal, chaval, roti and sabji. We felt home away from home.Written 13 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Jainam sanghviThane, India20 contributionsLocated near Kamshet, Tikona Fort is one of the easiest treks in Maharashtra. The route is very safe and wide. A great hike for beginners. Enjoy a breathtaking view of Pawna lake from the summit.Written 9 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

Must visit with friends and family to spend q memorable time on weekends. There are a variety of rides, slides with twists & turns, a wave pool & a tubing river, plus eateries. Best place for fun.Written 4 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Akshay SharmaNew Delhi, India9,279 contributionsIf you happen to visit Lonavala then Karla caves are nearby. It is easily approachable by road and then there are about 200 steps to be climbed. There is also a temple of Ekvira - Goddess - Avtar of Maa Durga. The caves come under ASI but only a portion of the caves is open to the public. they ask you to remove the shoes at the entrance but there is no place to sit or keep the shoes in an orderly way despite Rs.25/- as the entrance fees. Something authorities need to look into.Written 2 April 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Shubhra TPune, India343 contributionsPros:
- More than 40+ wax statues, most of them excellent
- Spacious and well-lighted
- Informative tableaus and interesting photos
- Helpful staff
Cons:
- The mall outside needs serious repairs, with water pools and broken ceiling
- AC was off in the museum, it was very hot, and even the statues seemed to 'sweat'
Overall, a good place to visit!Written 17 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - ashish gPune, India89 contributionsKoraigad is a very old fort (before 14th century). The trek here is easier as compared to other forts. Kids enjoy the trek as it has stairs as well as small trail to climb. There is only maggi and water available, its not commercial yet so carry your water and food.Written 12 January 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

Visited this place while returning from Lonavala. It was drizzling the whole time. We had to buy rain coats to roam around.
Bhushi Dam is a certainly gorgeous. BUT people try reaching the top climbing the uneven staircase while the water flows down with galloping speed. Some people after reaching the top, jump to the other side of the dam and some have lost their lives in the past.
One has to remember that this is not an adventure park and no lifesaving equipments or life guards are there to save you.
Just be cautious.
