What travellers are saying
- MyAbbyLuGulf Shores AL18 contributionsDonut Friar has the best donuts of my life! Every trip to town includes at least one if not two trips toget donuts!Written 27 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Christy CNew Richmond, OH322 contributionsFor $3 you can't loose. Be forewarned they still require a mask but did have them available once you got inside. When you first walk in there are no photo stickers everywhere and I got a little worried but this is the gift shop, once you are out of the first room and into the museum you can take lots of photos. 20.000 salt and pepper shakers can be overwhelming so I am sure we missed some. We had so much fun. I did not know they don't have a bathroom but luckily this was not an issue for me (it could have been a big bummer). I did found a set to purchase in the gift shop and they apply your admission to the purchase cost. We will definitely be going back!!!Written 3 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Maci B1 contributionCatherine was wonderful! We had such a good time creating our master pieces with her! She was so kind and patient with us. She helped us create a beautiful piece and guided us the whole time! We will definitely be back to do this again! It was so much fun! For the majority of our group this was the first time on the wheel and with her help it turned out beautiful!Written 24 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Grant.BBowdon, GA89 contributionsMy wife and I come here 3 or 4 times a year when we are in town. Mr Alewine and his staff are extremely talented artist. And Robert is such a nice guy. Always makes you feel welcome. We are developing quite a collection and look forward to adding to it.Written 25 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- AliciaBedford, OH23 contributionsMany different stores inside. Nice and clean area. Restrooms were clean and well maintained. We visited many stores and everyone was very nice, friendly and helpfulWritten 17 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- PaleoGypsyPhiladelphia, PA2,107 contributionsThe first parking lot, with spaces for a handful of cars, fills up fast. Keep going. On the left, additional parking exists. Lavatories are available. Make a donation to cover the costs of maintaining and stocking bathrooms. Watch the glass artists make artworks like pumpkins and birds. The prices are fair. This is a neat stop.Written 1 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Tina Smith2 contributionsLove Love Love his work! We actually met Paul Murray and his wife, it was amazing the selection was wonderful the personal time they spent with us was pricelessWritten 25 April 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Wylietravel82 contributionsThis place is a concrete image dream store!! There is just about any animal, statue figure and foot stones you can think of in this large “outdoor” store. I was very pleased with my animal statue! This store is just a few minutes from downtown Gatlinburg in the artist community on Glades Rd. It is worth the drive out to wander thru their yard for a unique gift!Written 24 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ashley KinsingerCanton, OH100 contributionsEverything for sale here is absolutely stunning! My dad has done some handmade pieces for us back home, and I can certainly respect the amount of time and effort that goes into every single piece on display here.Written 24 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- CES122Canton, MS834 contributionsOnce a great idea. Artist’s Colony. But did not materialize as expected. Split Rails Restaurant is a top 10 Pittman County restaurant. But maybe only 3-4 businesses. Property could be renovated and a money maker.Written 30 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- xiolungnewark, de263 contributionsOne of my husbands "must see" parts of a Gatlinburg vacation is a bear encounter. This year, we saw 2. I decided I wanted a wooden bear to take home and visited here. Very nice carvings. God prices and the genleman was willing to disuss exactly what I wanted and carve it.Written 7 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- LindsayNjoe429516 contributionsFun spot to walk through. They have some activities for the kiddos but we did not stop and do them, it was a little rainy when we were passing there. They do have a couple places to walk through and stores to check out.Written 6 June 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- hokie728Danville, VA484 contributionsNice little shops to explore while waiting on the tram to go up the mountain, nice shop owners and pleasant atmosphereWritten 27 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- kentucky traveler24 contributionsWe always visited the Cliff Dwellers when they were on Parkway - and back in 1996 or 1997 when they moved it out to the Craftmans Trail we still made it a point to visit. It is a great gallery of many local artists and craftmen. Make sure to dash upstairs and see who is working - we were able to have an item signed by the artist that day!!Written 17 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- CDSKissimmee, FL27 contributionsWe went here and did a alcohol ink watercolor. It was the best time! Jann showed us all the tips and tricks to make a beautiful leaf picture. She also provided us with all the instructions to make one at home! So much fun!Written 21 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
