Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We crossed the Verrazano around 6am en route to Hershey, PA. That early in the morning, crossing the bridge is quite easy. Looking right when Staten Island bound you see a few ferries, barges, and maybe a cruise ship.

I walked over this bridge between Brooklyn and Queens on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (B.Q.E.) of Interstate-278. This walkway was only located on the westbound side. I liked that this walkway was segregated between pedestrians and bicyclists, because many bridges, like the George Washington Bridge, do not have this type of a divide whereby it can be perilous for pedestrians. There were not many other pedestrians nor bicyclists exercising when I took my walk on a Saturday morning in March. There were many nice views of the Manhattan skyline, and on the Queens side, people could see the Cavalry Cemetery. I would estimate that it took me approximately twenty (20) minutes per way to go from an end of this bridge to the other end of this bridge. I parked my car on the street in Brooklyn where it was free.
