What travellers are saying
- Terrin B4 contributionsWe had a great day visiting the museum and garden. The garden was beautiful and spacious. Great meandering paths and ominous trees frame the property. A beautiful lake and a Japanese style landscape which appears somewhat tropical with the application of a variety of foliage and flowers. They have a great bonsai collection under Glass and beautiful gardens. There is plenty of open space and grass areas as well and a beautiful rose garden! This is a qualified review because I was a landscape designer in South Florida for my whole career and just recently retired.Written 26 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Green1MaMA448 contributionsIt is a lovely walk and the fact that bicycles are restricted makes it extra nice. On a hot summer day it is a nice green oasis, the neighborhood is beautiful and views are great.Written 26 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- socalukgirlDiamond Bar, CA155 contributionsWe took great pictures under the bridge at this spot. A definite spot if you can visit. We went about 10 am not too many people but getting busyWritten 12 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Lina JJakarta, Indonesia241 contributionsIt was such an amazing experience to stroll along Dyker Heights during Christmas time. It feels like being in a magical worlds where all the houses are illuminated and decorated with beautiful lights. Many house owners go extra miles to present the best decoration. It's truly beyond expectation. If you have time while visiting NY around Christmas, I would recommend to experience the tour that will take you to a fairy land.Written 19 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Abeer HDubai, United Arab Emirates1,206 contributionsWe had initially visited the Brooklyn bridge but later discovered the best view comes from the Brooklyn bridge park. So visited again. There is also multi-brand restaurants place there which was quite happening.Written 14 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Thomas VOakland, CA13,119 contributionsIt's a big neighborhood and known for its hipsters and hip establishments. I chose to do my wandering in a decidedly unhip area, the southern edge which is a Hassidic neighborhood, exclusively. Margaret Mead would love to do some anthropological research here, but for the tourist it's drab. Head north for the fun.Written 11 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Michael ANassau, New Providence Island1,521 contributionsThe Andy Warhol Exhibition is a must-see for all Andy Warhol fans. Andy Warhol is my favourite American artist. The special Andy Warhol exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum provides an interesting overview of Andy Warhol's early life and his progression as the leading American artist of the 20th Century.Written 26 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Merete H2 contributionsPerfect amount of people on the tour. Relaxed and nice atmosphere. Knowledgeable and fun guide. Last but not least, good beer.Written 14 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Steve SCheltenham, UK97 contributionsIt seems almost wrong to 'review' a church. However, this is a place where Jesus is lifted up and the Word of God is faithfully taught. Teaching, fellowship, worship, and prayer. If you're looking for a fantastic church then this is one!Written 6 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- AGW42103Bowling Green, KY89 contributionsI was a little hesitant to travel to Bushwick to view this mural collection that our teen wanted to see after reading about the neighborhood having a history of crime. However, that concern was unfounded. We rode the subway to the Jefferson Street station and felt very comfortable walking through this cool, revitalized neighborhood in the middle of the day. Everyone we encountered in the neighborhood was kind and helpful. The murals were amazing! A very cool experience!Written 10 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- FLBFiveStaten Island, NY879 contributionsWhat brought us here was the zoo, then walked through this beautiful park to get to Smorgasburg. Walkers, Runners, Bikers, plenty of open areas to play. Well maintained. Would definitely revisit and recommend.Written 19 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- PenistoneTravellerSheffield, UK43 contributionsI have been wanting to visit this museum for a while and this trip was the ideal opertunity. Not the easiest place to find the GPS goes a bit squiffy with the high rise buildings. The museum is very well laid out in two floor of a closed subway station. It's still connected the the subway network so exhibits can be moved about which is amazing.
It tell the story of the subway on NYC very well. Even if you are not a rail fan you will get a lot from a visit here.
At this time masks are still mandatory which become a bit tiresome after a hour or two but no doubt this will changeWritten 11 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Stan TeczaConnecticut4,372 contributionsNo dogs allowed. Had to sneak my pup in and be fast. Kinda annoying. Cash only at some places. Ate a double burger with bacon at Duck Season. 1/2 pound brisket at Barks BBQ.Written 2 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- GrumoNew York City, NY812 contributionsI walk through Green-Wood Cemetary on occasion. Such beautiful landscaping and stunning mausoleums! What a sense of history, eeing the English and Irish names of the earliest graves and the more contemporary names including many Italians of more recent graves is something. Many of these names are from families that are well-known. I didn't get to see many of the famous people buried here. The entrance on Fifth Avenue and 25th Street is spectacular. I know people who have taken tours and found them really interesting. In the mid-19th century this was the second most visited site in America, second only to Niagara Falls! A special place to spend time in in Brooklyn.Written 25 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kate CManchester, UK6 contributionsFantastic way to get around on that side of the city. Great alternative to the subway if you are visiting Wall Street.Written 18 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
