Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

St. Luke’s Place is in the middle of a busy and somewhat run down street. Mixture of buildings, some look great and others not good.

The location of the stonewall memorial. It’s interesting art work and a nice location overall. It’s probably a like or hate it as it’s art.

We were just taking a leisurly stroll though the park. Many things happening on the weekend. Groups playing music, people singing, artists etc, We spent a few minutes just listening to the piano player under the arch. If you want a free activity this is one on the list.

This neglected building stands on the corner between Christopher St and Grove St. In this area of high priced property, it seemed remarkable that a building of such size could be left empty and forlorn. I knew from my guide book that it had been built as a dispensary to care for the poor but as I was intrigued to know more, I did a bit more research. Apparently, the dispensary had to close after incurring legal debts arising from being sued for their refusal to treat a person with Aids. The building was later sold to a property acquirer William Gottlieb and since his death has been owned by his descendants. The deeds impose tight restrictions on further use and so the property remains empty. A proposal to open it as a resource for homeless people has been thwarted which seems a shame given current need and the intentions of the original owners. I think I will check  on any future progress as it has whetted my appetite to follow the story.

Happened to walk through this when I was on my way to the Strand. Took a moment to remember. With more time, I'd have stayed to drink my coffee.
