Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely grounds to wander around if you are in the area. Guided tours are available but I didn't do one of those. Worth visiting for the beautiful St Paul's Chapel (NOT the one in lower Manhattan) which has a stunning ceramic tiled domed ceiling.

Fun place to spend an hour. It was the perfect place for to visit with my teenage sun who loves puzzles and illusions. Small space but it wasn't crowded, the staff was very friendly and we really enjoyed our time there.

This review is basically a love letter to Roberta, Doug, and the rest of the team who put together the event for LinFamFest. The staff here is just tops - keeping the secrets, putting together all the details, and being the best, most helpful humans. I didn’t get to come back for the scheduled In The Heights viewing, but now that I have my library card, I’ll do it again some other visit. Thanks for everything!

Felt like I need to pay homage to the Schomburg during Black History Month. There was a great exhibit of James Baldwin’s work. The upgrades were fantastic.

On the corner of Park Ave and 68th this is a building acquired by the Marquesa De Cuevas in 1965 and presented to the America’s Society same as the Place next door.

This Theater is a legendary space for theater fans. Original home for Rent, Hadestown, and the new production of Merrily We Roll Along among many others. The theater is small, about 200 seats. I saw Here There Were Blueberries. Difficult show, but rewarding. Location is on East 4th Street across the street from La Mama Theater. Easy access by subway or bus. See show here!

My wife participated in a week long educators seminar. I had the pleasure to share a couple of the sessions and a dinner with the class. The people at JTS are warm, inviting and awesome.
