Our organization booked the Midway for the evening. We had no idea how it would be organized, but once we arrived we were impressed. There was more than enough room for touring, eating, drinking and dancing. The docent tours were excellent and very informative. Being able to go inside planes and helicopters was great. This is a great place for adults and children. This museum is a must see!

Having lived in La Jolla for 6 months, I walked every morning to the cove to watch the seals play and frolic. Scenery is gorgeous, there's always lots going on and it's fun to people watch. The only negative is the smell of the seals but that's not really a negative as it is nature at its finest!

I hadn't been to the zoo in 30 years so it was like seeing it for the first time. We went to the Zoo on a Tuesday at 9 am when it opened. The early arrivers get to see the release of the Macaws which was quite a treat. There were 6 Macaws in a covered cage that they lifted into the air and then opened the cage and the birds flew overhead. It was nice being there without the big crowds. Later in the afternoon when we were leaving it was beginning to get a bit crowded. The grounds are beautiful. I recommend taking the bus tour to see the layout. We walked about 5 miles in total and still missed a few things. The habitats are well maintained and the grounds are beautiful. The vegetation is an intricate part of the zoo which made the experience more enjoyable. There are some inclines but were easy to manage.

so easy to get to as the Via Capri road off of Torrey Pines road leads you right there and it is a 360 degree view of unapparelled beauty of the San Diego and La jolla area. What a treat to be at the tope of a mountain far above the fabulous beaches below. Do not miss this if you are in the San Diego area.

The flowers everywhere were simply amazing. Beautiful park to spend a few hours at. The only downside was that only a few of the attractions were open. We were there on a Monday, and only 3 places to eat.

Someone recommend us coming here so we checked the tides so we could be on the beach at the lowest tide. We came on Easter Sunday and man was it busy!! The beach is amazing here! There is so much to see and explore. A must see!

The glideport between La Jolla and Del Mar is maybe my favorite place on earth. You have RC Gliders flying their planes on one end and Paragliders and Ultra-Light aircraft on the other end of this high field overlooking the ocean at Black Beach the only clothing optional beach in the San Diego area. Wow what a fun place. Do Not miss this !!

This is a great place to visit in the early spring to see harbor because the harbor seals give birth on the beach. The beach is closed off for humans, but you can walk along the sea wall to get a better look at the animals.

I have also been at other parts of the year, where this is a good sheltered place to enter the water for scuba diving and snorkeling.

An absolutely beautiful spot to visit. I advise you go around 6pm just in time to watch the sunset.
Grab a bite to eat to bring or a bottle of wine , sit on the cliffs and relax.

Leaving our trip to San Diego, we stopped here on the way home. Its a cute small aquarium in a wonderful location. A bit pricy, but fun to visit if you havent been there before. Better for younger kids. Loved the huge tank. Wish they had more outdoor areas.

January 2022 I made a dive to the La Jolla Caves through SCUBA San Diego. It was great. As an older, east coast boat diver, who had never done a shore entry in surf conditions, I had a wonderful time in a completely new environment (and temperature).

Shore entry in surf was new to me, and I had a free-flow from my second reg. The life guards immediately notified me of the situation -- nice to have over-watch. The dive was shallow, about 25-30 feet max, but it's a great experience having seals zipping around you as you enjoy the other underwater life. The "caves" are really a swim-through. We had lots of surge, but I wouldn't have missed it.

SCUBA San Diego provides good service, a great guide, and were very flexible.
Cole (my guide) is an accomplished diver and a great guide. I enjoyed the kelp, sea lions, fish, and everything else along with the caves. I had scheduled a follow-on night dive with Cole at La Jolla Canyon, but a last minute conflict I forced me to call the dive. Ron (the owner of SCUBA San Diego) had no problems sending me a certificate for full credit for the next time (soon, I hope) I come out. Being in business since 1968, I felt very comfortable accepting the certificate. All-in-all, a great experience. The Caves make for a great dive and I highly recommend SCUBA San Diego! And HIGHLY recommend Cole.

One of, if not the, best baseball parks in all of baseball. Great downtown location, and the streets become a party after each game. Great food options.

If you are in La jolla you just have to visit Wind-And-Sea Beach which is located right a the water's edge of WestBorne avenue in downtown La Jolla where the surfers ride the most dangerous surf, around huge boulders, some partially submerged and some half visible in the crashing surf. Its a trip not to be missed.

I visited here during a one week stay in San Diego. The location isn’t exactly right next to the tram station, however, is within walking distance for those who are relatively fit and can stand the heat. There are a large variety of retailers here including major brands such as Nike, Adidas, Footlocker, Asics, Nautica and others. It’s a great location for having so many outlet stores in one spot and the prices are generally great! There were some food and drink options available though some of these had shut for the day (I did visit on the 2nd January though) or didn’t open at all. Overall a good experience and next time I’m in San Diego I’d happily visit again to snap up some bargains!

I had read so much about the Guy Fleming Trail that it became a "must" for us. No disappointments there. Great views while strolling through a number of different habitats: scrub, chaparral, and woodland.

After, we walked the beach and enjoyed looking at the sculpted cliffs. The beach rocks wee interesting, as we do not have them on the east coast, at least at the many beaches that I've been to.
