What travellers are saying
- ekelleman88Hammond, IN144 contributionsThere are displays to read and videos to watch chronicling the Kennedy presidency. Videos include the Kennedy-Nixon debate, TV election coverage from 1960, press conferences, personal Kennedy family home videos, Jackie Kennedys tour of the White House, and speeches made in Germany and Ireland. Great stop for anyone who lived during the 60s or anyone with an interest in history.Written 8 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Denise S3 contributionsWhile many people may think a ‘library is just a library’, that thought does not apply to the Boston Public library!! In Boston, you should include time to go inside and take in all the beauty, art (including murals, statues, etc) and architecture and history of this building! A brochure (free) at the main entrance is available and provides a guide to your self-paced tour of the highlights of this building - so you can explore at your leisure.Written 15 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- DrPJAExeter, NH180 contributionsAttended the RV show this weekend, easy access to parking. $20.00 for the day of the show. The screening to get in was easy and fast. Ample access to the show floor, bathrooms, and food stations.Written 26 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- jac222018Boston, MA26 contributionsThis is a hidden gem! My family and I did the 'Art and Architecture Tour' and it was one of the best tours we've ever done in Boston. The docent was outstanding, knowledgeable, and lots of fun. The building holds so much history and beautiful artwork. Absolutely do not miss!Written 14 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- GLG3Denton, TX413 contributionsGreat place the hall itself is well organized the security is very good. The bathrooms are clean and plenty of them. The best part is the location as you are not trapped eating only the food the convention center has, there are some good restaurants around and a food court just outside. Great planning.Written 11 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Tanya Volff SSharon, MA67 contributionsWe stumbled across the church she founded first thinking it was a library and was offered a free tour. At first I was hesitant thinking it was a way to convert me. I also mistakenly thought this was the church that didn’t support medical intervention if any kind. I was wrong on both accounts. It was a beautiful place and the staff was informative but not pushy. I learned a great deal and the building in beautiful. Afterwards he pointed us towards the library and mapparium. I liked the Mapparium but felt rushed. It would have been nice to be able to linger a bit more, though they did say that you could do another tour through tour the day for free! I learned about Mary Baker-Eddy who wrote a book, founded the church based in her beliefs which has spread internationally, created a magazine for fair news all at a time when it would have been hard for a woman to do so. She was amazing to learn about! Highly recommend seeing the church and the library!Written 2 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Five Diamond TravelerPittsburgh, PA268 contributionsWhen we check into this lounge, the check in agent did not seem to excited to be assisting us. It seemed as though I was interrupting her or preventing her from doing something else. When we got checked in, we grabbed a seat and went to check out our food selection. They had smoked salmon and mini truffle club sandwiches on pita bread. All of the food tasted great. I went to the bar and got a beverage. While the bar was quiet, the bar tender seemed less than excited to help me. The bathroom were a little dirty and needed some updating. The club had a quiet and comfortable atmosphere and seemed clean overall.Written 29 April 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- XSki007New Jersey1,171 contributionsI guess this is a good place to stop for a map and some pointers to help navigate the city.
That said, not much else, however there are public rest rooms!Written 6 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - tektektekTamworth, NH603 contributionsMy wife and I went here for the Boston Flower & Garden Show. Lots of room for the exhibits / booths. Restrooms clean and well-marked. Parking garage across the street was "full" but an attendant outside directly in and we found a spot near the elevator bank. Easy walk from here to a number of restaurants. If there is a show here you want to see, the location itself should not be a problem.Written 17 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- TravelEatXploreBoston, MA5,198 contributionsGive it a 3.5 stars. This isn't a top notch lounge. The bathroom are outdated. There are charging stations and free wifi. Good selection of American food. The food is decent, but I found that the staffs here are attentive and helpful.Written 20 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Suzanne BDallas, TX8 contributionsI have gone on three tours with OAT. Great tours, but i have been on hold now for an hour waiting to book a new trip. The recording says to call back if you are not leaving within the next four months! I'm just about to hang up angle find another tour company. I don't know how they are going to make it if no one is available to take your calls.Written 8 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- drichrxBrooklyn, NY1,213 contributionsSmall museum of exhibits dedicated to the history of Massachusetts - with strong focus on settling of Europeans and Revolutionary War. Free and took about a hour to see. On the UMass-Boston campus across from JFK library. There is a free shuttle (Paul Revere- Route 1) from the Red Line JFK/UMass station. Worth visiting.Written 30 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Tab WCincinnati, OH702 contributionsWe found out that our Spirit Airlines flight was delayed again, which left us plenty of time to use our last set of United Club passes at the lounge. We lucked out in that we made it for the tail-end of breakfast but also got to indulge in the lunch spread. Plus, I had two vodka cranberries for good measure. :)
The lounge was fairly crowded but manageable.Written 14 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - NFcaCarterville, IL236 contributionsRecently visited here for the first time to research my ancestry. There is a large collection of resources available to view and copy. There is a charge to photocopy but no charge for copy to thumb drive. I found the manuscripts very interesting to view. You find the manuscript reference, then bring it to an attendant for retrieval. Very nice service and friendly staff. Large table areas to spread out your work. Membership or entrance fee is required.Written 4 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- D0nLCFranklin, MA209 contributionsThis is an attractive lounge area with a lot of comfortable seating. There are several types of seating so you can work or relax. It has options for a shower and light snacks and a full bar.
